- Join director Ryosuke Murai for a look at some of the features you can expect from Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, including various outfits from various Capcom games, skateboarding through the mall, a "Psychopath" boss fight, and a peek at the alternate game mode called "Infinity mode," where you try to survive for as long as possible in this remaster of the action game.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be available on PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox Series X/S, and PC on September 19, 2024 (digital), and physical versions will be available on November 8, 2024.

Kinda preferred that they made two different modes instead of changing Infinity Mode. Having a Sandbox Mode separate from Infinity Mode would've been a great addition, especially considering that Infinity Mode was meant to be a mode that was never supposed to be easier in any degree. It was supposed to be the ultimate test of your skills in DR. Now, it kinda seems like it's meant for achievement completion than being a test of player skill. Sandbox Mode could've been regular DR without missions or time constraints but instead would've had challenges like it did in Off The Record. Having the two modes together would've added more value to the game and would've made it interesting to see players go from Sandbox Mode to challenging themselves in Infinity Mode.
Fix the blood and bodies disappearing within 15 seconds. Breaks immersion and the joy of seeing the aftermath

@MattsNoodles there was a video showcase someone did where they showed off all of the graphics settings. There were options to toggle how many bodies there could be on screen before they start despawning

it is not censored, at the opther stream they were adamnt they introduced the feature (stream config with less gore) and used during the stream to comply to all platforms rules, but it's an option and default game is 100% gory.
But the rest of the game IS censored.

Looks super faithful to the original but with some much needed quality of life improvements. Pretty glad we won't have to play 14 hours real-time anymore for the achievement lol although the option is still there if you really wanted to.

@@ytm23akyou just described the current version available on Steam. This version is definitely a remake in the sense that everything was literally remade - new engine, new 3D models, new voice recordings. The only thing reused was the motion capture for the cutscenes (and the game/level design). It’s very similar to the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake - both being faithful recreations of their original games - but MGS3 is even using the original voice recordings, so in some way this Dead Rising “remaster” is even more of a remake than MGS3 hah.

Omg please understand they are playing the Japanese version of the game. Looks up Japanese version of resident evil 2 remake and a lot of the gore is censored in that version plus there is a setting in the game for streamers so they don’t get flagged or get in trouble with platforms

It's the movement and animations Frank in DR1 can turn on a dime and animation cancel his attacks. Chuck is slow and unresponsive in contrast.

Lol not to mention you can play the unaltered original games still, they have not been touched or even hinted at being delisted. 🤷♂️ new voice actors, some new character models, and some changes in dialogue.
