Great video! Agreed this is a fantastic app. I have a Push2 controller but still find Touchabe useful in studio or when I’m mobile and can’t take Push with me.
Da Coolest Dad Ever I’ve used it for quick recordings and haven’t had any problems with it. I prefer Cubasis for more advanced recording, but garage band has the simplicity of going from ipad/phone to Mac seamlessly
Hey, thanks for the demo. Not sure if I should use it tho as I cant find any info about how it works with drum racks. Can you switch and duplicate pads in dr‘s quickly? What about switching midi notes of tracks/pads in ta pro? This is still not optimal on push and i am looking for a way to make this stuff faster.
Glad you did a viddy of Touchable Pro! There’s so much potential, but the lack of tutorials are bit frustrating. Also, Someone needs to send you a better stylus, do u know if the Pencil 53?
Kites Pongan it can do so much! Haven’t even scraped the surface haha. I do need a better one! I hadn’t planned on using one and had to get a random pen with a stylus on one side 😂 I haven’t heard of that one until now. Looks nice!
what about finger drumming? I use it on android but I have latency issues and the app really lets me down when I play three or more pads simultaneously. does it work better on ios? can you tap drum grooves without the need to quantize them later because the app doesn't get everything together nicely?
@@ViktoriaSilk I can't find on youtube and other sites ANY video which shows this keyboard function... Could you print it and post for us, or send me by e-mail?
Thanks for the vid! Are you going to do more comparisons of pro versus the older version aside from connection? Pro came out a few months after I bought the original and with no upgrade path I’m a bit salty lol. It seems like the main selling point may just be waveform/device view...
On my late 2013 27” iMac and 2021 base iPad mine runs smoothly. GUI doesn’t freeze at all on my setup. You’re able to trial the app - sort of anyway. Purchase, try out and use iStore app return policy. Just Google how to return iOS apps for Ts & Cs before you buy.
You can browse and load 3rd party plugins in the app. However controlling them depends on whether those plugins are mapped for ableton by developer. You have the option to map your plugins in ableton and save as mapped template though
That app looks interesting! I bought a similar app two years ago named Conductr made by some guys from Barcelona. It worked so nice and stable.. but 6 months ago the app was removed from App Store and the creators dissapeared.. and Apple don’t back my money, cause is in the store terms. Hope this App will not finish at the same way
Ace video - just got Touchable Pro and was looking for a quick flythrough of where everything is etc. and your video is amazing - I also have a vintage iPad (iPad 3) and it works fine on that as well!! Whoop!! Thanks for sharing *_(",)/
This app actually helps me better understand how ableton works. I think it is remarkable app. Hopefully you’ve figured it out from the provided help guide that comes in the app?

nice video! how do you connect iPad to Mac?
Wifi or usb
Not bad thanks for the run down! What are your thoughts on the garage band app on iPhone?

There's no a virtual keyboard to play instruments, like Logic Remote for LPX?
v. albuquerque jr. there is! It has a virtual keypad, virtual drum machine, and even has a grid pad controller function

@Terry Juelz Glad I could help =)

Very nice review, had to sub :)
The GUI obviously freezes from time to time. Isn't that annoying, I wonder?
