Just fixed this problem on a 2010 Infiniti EX35. The solution was to silicone the two front sunroof drain exit fittings to the firewall. Pretty simple. We actually watched these fitting allow water back in behind the firewall. The system Infinti/Nissan uses is useless and there should be a class action lawsuit started for it.
You need to carefully check the gap in the passage of electric wires coming into the room from the engine room. I've heard the sound of water sloshing around under the car in the past.
I mean is the first time I own a Q50. I wanted to try something new as I always drove Mercedes, And honestly I don't understand how come a new car can have so many issues. I'm definitely going back to Mercedes.
Any luck? We have a 2010 EX35 with the wet floor when it rains. the sunroof drains seem to be draining not too badly. We figure it's the outlet fittings on the firewall letting water pass back inside somehow. Have to remove some things out of the firewall area to get access.

You can try to pack the hole with silicone too as an extra barrier.

There is a whole puddle in my backseat !!idk what happened or what the problem is and my car has been sitting for months
More than likely the front drain plugs clogged. Mine was getting water in the back as well from it
Why would u drain it to that? Gravity....
Can it be bypassed then run a line down to the ac drainubder the carpet
Does it work with the q50, I did that to my g37 where you reroute the whole drain system
I had the same problem and it was my sunroof leaking

@@ivan-qp1fku can buy a drain unplugger and run it through the holes in your sunroof. I had the same problem
