Are there rear drains as well ? My track looks pretty clean but we just had rains and there was a stain in passenger seat and passenger aide sunroof cover looked damp… I poured water and it drained pretty quick. I’m just wondering if it was so much rain it couldn’t keep up or if there is a rear drain that needs cleaning ?
So, my personal experience with my vehicles have been Yes there are rear drains. Thet are more difficult to reach and the drain tube out lines are going to be configured a little differently for each type of vehicle. I would do some specific research on your year make and model vehicle and see if you can't find a diagram of how your drain tubes run.
Yep, I think we all deal with it at some point or another.... My suggestion is go ahead and get some of that electrical wiring and jug of warm water and feed that wire down into that tubing. After you pull the wire back out, pour a little bit of that warm water into your upper track. Not a lot because if you still have the clog it'll come right back in the car but just enough to see if it starts draining behind your tire at the fender. If it is some simple debris along the drain line, you should be able to push it through. If that doesn't correct the problem then it could be blocked at the firewall which is a completely different problem and not as easy to fix but it can be done. I periodically clean my drains. Just to keep everything flowing through there before and debris buildup gets to be, too much.
Thx you shorty lol. It worked for me. Appreciate you
Ha! You betcha! Thanks for stopping in 😁
Just unclog with a 🚲 cable !
