He’s trying to be smart answering it. Hybrid variant would push the price to 12L. How many sales can they generate at that premium? Also parallel hybrid increases the complexity. Future MS is looking at series hybrid for smaller cars which is a simpler tech and they’ll be able to achieve economies of scale by mass producing it as every compact car will have that tech.
Indians should know one thing that.. most of the car companies are manufacturing n selling their cars mutually... Suzuki in mileage aspect Hyundai n Kia in features aspect Tata n Mahindra in safety aspect These guys will never change anything...

They didn't mention the body strength and crash deformation of body on high impact. Also reduced the body weight. Thus z series engine need to be kept in wagonr model . But this guy's knowledge about the auto industry's market trends are lacking to say it politely. I was hoping to hear more about Suzuki's plan for future hybrid vehicles, but this guy gives a typical non answer by saying we have an engine that gives a best in class mileage. Simple truth he didn't tell: Just to compensate for the cost of mandatory 6 airbags, we downgraded from 4 cylinder to 3 cylinder engine.
