Couldn't the Bm be played just on the bottom 4 strings? I'm not yet at a level to play barre chords.

Worth saying the capo doesn’t change the key at all it’s still D major key.

When you transpose it you say the C chord just sounds like the D chord but you are playing a D chord just with the shape of C.
It's a C relative to the capo.

Any suggestions on having the finger "kink" out for the A chord? My finger doesn't seem to want to bend enough, meaning the high E string gets muted.
I have same problem. (Though I’ve heard for some songs the A with high E muted is better)
You've still got an E note on the D string. It doesn't really matter
