Let me give you some perspective on the Beatles white album. I was 13 when this came out and a massive Beatles fan. The Beatles had just put out 2 of the most Psychedelic albums and album covers, Sgt. Pepper's and Magical Mystery Tour. Me and my best friend were anxiously looking forward to the next Beatles album and wondering how they would top those last 2 album covers and then they come out with an all white album. The Beatles name was also white. It was embossed in white, not black. It also had a serial number for that exact album. It kind of blew us away. Only the Beatles would have come up with that. It had never been done before. It completely subverted expectations. All album cover since that have one color, spring from that cover.

I also dislike sunbather cover. They have so many great covers but this shit is interesting only intellectually, when you just look at it it's unimaginative and seriously looks like something you could find on the colour palette.
nah Luke is cancelled on twitter, as a Beatles SUPER fan, I can tell you that the album cover works well with most of the songs such as long long long, dear prudence, Julia and so much more, its like blond, the emotions depicted on the album cover is reflected on the songs. plus, you see the album cover as something different, maybe you see the king crimson cover as a man stubbing his toe and having a mental breakdown. P.S. the hate of revolution 9 is unbearable, its actually a good avant garde song. love you jake
You guys missed something with the design of the album cover and the colour. The colour gradient itself, George has said it was wanting to be similar to when youd close your eyes in the sun, youd get that pinky ish hue in your eyelids.
