"Join us for an exciting night-time POV drive in the 2024 Škoda Elroq 85 on the beautiful island of Mallorca!" Kinda bright nights they have on Mallorca?
@@FurTalles I want to have more options with pure ICE. That's why I bought a passat b9. Other vendors like Toyota makes customer to go with mild hybrid, phev engine. There is no ice engine at all. IMHO it's a big problem, cause battery replacement is costly. Most buyers don't takes to account.
@@DmitriiPimkinI don’t think batteries are a big problem, we’ve had hybrid cars for 20+ years now and they’re some of the most reliable cars on the road and those hybrid batteries are charged/discharged many more thousands of times than any EV battery of their lifetimes. Toyota hybrids are some of the most reliable cars you can buy and they’ve also been using lithium hybrid batteries for quite some time. The first gen Nissan Leaf was a massive POS that ruined the industry reputation but other EVs have been fine except for a few recalls that replaced batteries for free.

ooops...
How did you find the brakes? Some reviewers describe them as grabby. I plan to leave the regen on auto mode.
I didn't really like the brakes, they were too "soft" and I needed to learn how to use them properly.
@@DrivingCars Hopefully can be resolved but not a deal breaker for me as looks a great overall package. Ordered an edition 85 in moon white.
good choice, overall it's a really good car, not only good electric car.
yet another EV... Skoda tends to repeat VW mistake 😢
I hope not.
And? Where is the issue? If you don't want an EV just buy the Karoq, the combustion version of the Elroq. Simple as that
