Two weeks ago I went to the Emergency Department because I suspected blood clots, they did blood work said i mostly likely.did have them. I was given a shot in my belly and told to come back in 5 hours for an ultrasound . Sure enough I had DVT in both legs. I was given a prescription and sent home. Also told that someone would contact me further from the vein clinic. I was not given any further information on what to do except taking my prescription and wait for a phone call. I’m still waiting and decided to do my own research. This is in Canada

Oh how I miss American hospitals! I was taken to an er via ambulance. No pulse in foot and idiots in er ignored my no foot pulse. The resident said "oh I feel a pulse" but then said ",but I just cut my finger hehe." After much synthetic morphine they made me walk to prove they could send me home with crutches and more narcotics. The nurse was so rude forcing me to walk getting angry at me because she assumed I was faking it. She left me begging in tears on the floor. Horrendous experirnce. I went to another hospital. They found four clots in my leg, several in my pelvis, and in my stomach aorta. I was at home unable to walk for over a day before going to other hospital. I have had excellent doctors in USA. I absolutely abhor doctors in the hellhole I am currently wanting to vacate. The funny thing is I thought I had clot because I had pain in calf and thigh a few days before, but I never went to ER because the medical establishment where I am are mostly incompetent and negligent morons. I knew they would laugh me out the door. Just as they did with many clots unable to walk. They couldn't find mine in veins so assumed I was faking because they were in my artery in leg. CT scan showed the seriousness and was rushed into surgery. I have protien s deficiency and auto immune they refuse to treat it take care of as well.. ugh I wish I had enough resources to move back to USA where I had access to real doctors and hospitals.

I feel your uneasiness, pain and frustration. It’s great that you’re back in the States. Where was that? I’m asking because I’m experiencing something similar and now I’m thinking the only solution is to go the hospital in the States. It’s not much as I’m being ridiculed but more like they can’t find what’s wrong with me while my right inner ankle has holes, scaring, tingling on the bottom of my toes and foot, and raptured ulcers. Today I found out my sock was soaked in blood and two new holes on the skin of my right ankle. I’m very worried. Any advice would be highly appreciated.

MY doctor caused my clots!! I had a pain in my leg and couldn't even walk and that man passed it off as a cramp and five years later I went back and had to insist getting an ultra sound! I had been doing the same bad things like sitting in front of the computer for hours. By that time and because he never gave a damn about it being a blood clot it grew up my leg! He could have killed me. I will never completely trust my life with a doctor again. I am being pro active even though my blood doctor disagrees with me! I did not wear those compression socks because it doesn't make sense to constrict my blood flow going in or out of my leg, especially with a clot! and all my swelling eventually went away without them. I never wanted to take factor x inhibitors (xeralto) because I do not trust them. My skin started ragging out and the enamel on my teeth was eroding so I went back on warfarin at my insistence. I will see what happens.

Alexander Bacca TH-cam search "nattopine testimonial Vietnam vet" nattokinase and a Nitric Oxide stimulant like natural L-Citrulline can help you and even cure it. Visit your doctor though and seek clot busting therapy with him to.

I can help you out I have D.V.T you'll have it for the rest of you life, but the clot can come back. You have to stay away from leaffy green vegtables, such as cabbage, broccoli, lettuce., eggs, mayonnaise, cheese, and vegetable oils. They contain vitamin k that can cause your veins to clot. You can eat small amounts once in awile, but don't eat too much of them. Exercise, like walking just take your time walking like walking a little bit, a half a block, then do that until it doesn't hurt as much. Once you get used to walking. a half a block try walking a full block, then as time passes you'll be able to walk even run again. But after you get home elevate your leg for awhile an hour or two until then pinching stops. Make sure you don't smoke or eat the stuff that have vitamin k in it, until your legs stop swelling. Plus if you don't have any blood thinner medicine you can take baby asperin (don't take Regular asperin) just the baby asperin cause of the milagrams. Also you can take excedrin it also has blood thinner in it. The pinching in your legs will go away eventually, but I also look at it like a warning message to me aswell, not to over do it. When I do feel it, it reminds me to rest and elevate my leg. I hope this helps you, you can always look it up online go to WebMD. They give you good treatments and what foods to avoid.
