- Join us as we set sail across the English Channel to France and into Belgium to visit the amazing Plopsaland de Panne to check out the brand new The Ride to Happiness by Tomorrowland
Plopsaland de Panne is one of the best family theme parks in Europe and has an awesome ride line up with 2 of my favourite coasters around, Heidi The Ride and Anubis plus much more
One of the main reasons for our visit was to get on The Ride to Happiness which is Europe’s first Mack Rides Xtreme Spinning Coaster which has incredible theming based around the Belgium music festival called Tomorrowland
Huge thank you to Plopsaland de Panne for our gifted tickets, we had an amazing day and you have to visit this park which is open year round and only 30-40mins from Calais

Congratulations to both Martin & Charlotte, 😀👍 Opinion on spinning rides with a lot of carriages, prefer them being honestly just one train a.k.a like Chessington's Dragons Fury & Alton Towers is Spin ball Whizzer. Having it as a full train, just makes it look ugly. At least in my opinion, looking at it. Doesn't look like the best ride in Europe, think there are better ones out there. Again with theming, think some rides could do with more theming around them? Making them more interactive which is why if this London Resort does happen, hoping its really theme interactive with paths, queue lines and photo opportunities & themed lands being super themed up. Especially around the coasters in them. Agree with maybe a new dark ride, like the look of the GCI Coaster there, really quick and looks a lot of fun. But overall, really good vlog, really like your camera which stays level all way round, did ask on another video. Might consider getting myself one of those? But yeah, good vlog, cheers for recording, uploading and sharing. 😀👍

Nice enjoyable blog Andy. A bit of journey for a day trip, one to Southend in day is enough for me ( that's old age creeping up ). Congrats to the happy couple, it must be catching because Shawn finally proposed in front of a Disney Castle this year too. I thought he was going to do it especially as there are so many Wedding Chapels in Las Vegas!!

Ride to happiness looks a good ride I don’t know about rides being re rideable whenever I seem to go to parks they are that busy I’m lucky to get one ride thanks again Andy and the gang 👍🎢💍

A little tip for glasses fogging up: Get a Anti-Fog Nose Clip or rub a bar of soap on your lenses and wipe off don't wash-both work ok.

passing threw my area there Andy mate, I remember going to Plopsaland some years ago when visiting Adinkerke. Its not a bad little park for a day out if you dont mind the long day. Good Vid mate

fyi They are building a new indoor section where there will also be a darkride. This will open in 2023. It will be called Bumba indoor. There will be restaurants, shops and some smaller attractions. + the darkride.
Where can I find information about this ??? We didn’t see any construction work taking place in or around the park other than Viktors Race and the Mack Boat Ride getting rethemed

that Hang time was nothing mate, :P Have you heard of (and I'm sure you have) these 1980s fair rides called sky masters? the hang time on them could sometimes be like a full minute almost!
Yes I’ve seen those and won’t go on one for that reason lol !! The Loop-0-Plane that travels with T.Smiths it’s a funfair classic ride and is so intense that I’ve only ever ridden it once lol

2023 plopsaland de panne will open bumbaland indoor erea with a dark ride and a few more circus theme rides
Phantasialand had closed from end of january till beginning of April ;-)

Try to do it on a hot summer day at sunset.
There are like 4-5 creds in Vegas!
Ride to happiness is totally different in summer then in winter. Much Faster, much powerfull. Now it only just makes the tophead.
It looks no different in the videos I've seen from last year
Yeah bare in mind it was only 4° when the ride opened and didn’t get much warmer than that so it was running cold most of the day
Looks like a good park. Seen it on a few vlogs but it is always under my radar. How would you rate the park compared to other Europe ones?

Excellent vlog, Andy! Out of interest; if you had to pick, would you take Ride to Happiness or Icon?
Icon for me as I much prefer a traditional rollercoaster however the themed area, theming and music is much better for The Ride to Happiness

Get yourself a Ulanzi Power Grip. I get 7 hours out of one of those with the GoPro battery sat inside still charging. It's a small selfie handle with a power bank built inside.

Hi Andy how much did it cost to ho over for the day
It was £70 on the ferry from Dover to Calais but that price can change so best look online for yourself plus it was £15 for covid test plus all over expenses

The handstrap is allowed on ride to happiness if you email the park for permission
I did email the park and got permission to film even tho you can anyway and the ride staff told me and another vlogger in the station that hand straps are not allowed on Ride To Happiness and Anubis because they are too intense and only chest harness is allowed
@@Coaster_Crazy thats odd when i went i showed the email to the ride operators and they where totally fine with it. Got some great footage with the wristmount
