He doesn't hate it. I understand why you would think that, but horse body language can be bery confusing let me explain. He is listening to his trainer not pinning his ears. If he was pinning, he would also be snorting his eyes would probably have white in them and he would have no problem getting away from the trainer since he is using leather reins. You can easily look up the difference between pinning and listening but do be careful as there are extremests on both sides and it can be confusing. Also if your upset about his neck being like that there is a thing called hyperflexion or rollkur which is the cause of confusion in this type of training. Rollkur/hyperflexion is most definitely abuse and lazy horsemanship, but here the horse's head is naturally doing that due to him collecting his body you can look up training a horse to do piaffe with no tack and you will see the same thing. Sorry for the rant I hope this helps with any confusion!

@@rakcityequine2.0 I made that comment 8 months ago and have since been working at a dressage stables and do not agree with how this pony was trained. I'm a level 1 rider and I am learning level 2 riding aswell as learning in depth about training styles, breeding and horse care.u think what I was trying to say back then was just because his ears are back doesn't mean he hates it but I agree this horse isn't being trained correctly. Hope you have a nice day/night.
