Elizabeth Garozzo is brilliant she does background vocals for the guys in a couple of other videos too ( Greatest showman medley, Frozen 2 medley) and is just as beautiful as her voice

Maggie, I always love your reactions. You really would love Voiceplay's official Halloween release "Hide and Seek" (Ding Dong) as it has the same quality and creativity of this one. By the way Layne continues the inside joke with the group tossing in a carrot at the end. Layne's costume self-proclaims himself as the Carrot King.. Also, Geoff has a bunch of low, low notes in the background in this song. It is absolutely ridiculous. Elizabeth Garozzo, you rock girl!

I love this - no lyrics just incredible music. Our band played the Peer Gynt Suite and this was my favorite movement. I got to play Geoff's part since I was playing the contrabass clarinet. It's a magic instument. I love that Elizabeth listens to the reactions and responds. You and she should get together. That would be amazing. I really think VoicePlay and Elizabeth should get an award for this. It is so creative, so original (if you can call it that when it's been played for nearly 150 years and in films too. There is nothing like it.), so cool and fun. Perfectly done. What agency does awards for acapella music or just music. Can we lobby them?

Geoff will be releasing a new video this month and in January. Voiceplay next month. Pattycake Productions sometime this month or next month.
Pattycake Productions is owned by Layne and Tony. They have tons of Disney type original videos. They concept, write, arrange, edit, produce and costume every video.
My favorites are Bump In The Night, Villains Haunted Mansion and The Villains Lair series. Presently at season 2 episode 4 That's All. Where else can you get all the Disney villains in one place?
But all their videos are amazing.
All videos are done with extremely talented actors and actresses.

There are so many talented Gen Z TH-cam singer/reactors, but you think they would quit doubting Voiceplay and their collaborators’ vocal abilities after this many excellent projects. There is something to be said about the years of performing and practice they put in to be able to do this. It also shows you how many exemplary singers are out there, yet they don’t get massive recognition.
I think after he get's spiked Layne sounds akin to Eccles (From a very old classic British comedy show, the Goon Show) is amusing. Also as usual your facial expressions are priceless Maggie.
Such a great reaction. This is one of the most musically technical pieces they’ve done. When you really dig deep into this arrangement, it is an absolute masterpiece.

Halloween videos are just so cool, love the makeup, and costumes. The vocals these acappella groups always can bring it. Yikes! It's a ghost.

do they do more Halloween .. um YES... they did they did Hide and Seek with Lauren Paley (known as the stairwell siren). She also dose a wonderful job of singing hide and seek in the stairwell. and if you want to go insane... you could also link it with "The Bass Gang" also doing Hide and seek with Lauren Paley (all three give you an interesting combo of what can be done with the same song in three acapella forms)
And since I know you LOVE bass.. that is the ultimate reason to watch videos of the bass gang they will melt you down with G-1's in Hide and Seek.
they also have been known to have guest artists join them and Peter Barber is also Opera trained. if you decide to do bass gang and are done with Halloween I would recommend "Centuries" or "the Emperor's new clothes". lots of low notes and copious bell tones
who is the bass gang well , they are a group of four bass singers, thriving in virtual collaboration from all corners of the planet - Bobby Bass from Connecticut, Tomi P from the Czech Republic, Marwan Ayman from Egypt, and Peter Barber from Virginia.
just be prepared for tons of G1--E2 from one to 4 bass singers sometimes at the same time

Thank you so much for your wonderful reaction to the rendition of the Grieg classic. Maggie, please consider reacting to 2 musicians known as the Harp Twins. They are classically trained Harpist who are identical twins. They have performed this song and over other 150 songs on their You Tube home page. They have performed everything from Rock and Roll to Metal to Westerns. They also make their own outfits they wear while performing their videos. With Christmas right around the corner. They have a number of songs where they sing as well as play their harps. The perform an original song entitled Solstice Has Come with concert harps outside in the winter. Check them out when you can. They take harp music where it has never gone before in a wonderful way.

She does not sing "shalalalala ... she uses a lil' trick I know from trumpet playing ... she sings "shaladaladaladala" or does the same change with L and L as konsonants shalagalagalagala or even only d shaladadadadada that all works, because we can only here so much with a second, ouor "listening-resolution" is limited, that's why this trick works. comparable to pictures that stark to have motion when they are more than 15 per second. For our ears about 8 tones per second is more than enough to fool the limit of "resolution" for most of the people

How is she almost always a half tone off on these notes ? I first I thought that the girl was semitone deaf (haha, get it ?) but maybe this has to do with her headphones or the software that she uses to record ?
It could be a headphone thing. I use similar headphones when I listen to music, and with noise-canceling headphones, music after a while sounds as if it's shifted up a semitone. I don't really notice it until I take the headphones off during a song and it suddenly sounds almost a semitone down. So you might not be entirely wrong.
