I have the M9 and I am very happy with it. I have never tried the M8, but I am sure it is a great coil. I do not hunt water or beaches (none around here) but I was told that the M9 is lighter than the M8 and thinner than the M8. Seems like it would be better in water,
The M9 is fine for the dirt diggers. But it is chatty in the saltwater like the M11. They are all very capable coils for sure. Here is the big thing for those of us that have old injuries and are not spring chickens anymore. You can go longer with a smaller coil for sure without all the stress on your joints! Add a detect pal shoulder harness and now you can hit those 8 hour hunts without a problem. It also allows for you to have your swing arm free!
@@mickbalton7028 I run ATG. I use mostly default settings.. I would suggest you do a factory reset then select ATG, recovery speed of 3 and set sensitivity to 18. Set GB to 0 and turn ground tracking on. If needed do a noise cancel and then go hunting.
As always, I enjoyed the hunt. Thanks for taking us along. Happy Holidays.
Happy Holidays to you too! Hope you find some good stuff yourself!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
Where are all the comments, come on people give this guy a hand.
Thanks! I think they gave up on me. Lol

I use the beach low conductor with prospecting tone program. It’s like running DP on the 900.
I assume you are talking about the manticore? It leaked again and they are replacing it.
