This is a training video!! This video has been so helpful to me as a Trainer. My drivers has passed at 100% on Pretrip each time at the DMV. While Pretripping it takes them less than 15min verbally and physically because they are prepared, they are successfully from physical training and watching this video over and over. Kindly appreciated.

you should chalk your wheels when doing an air brake test as the bus is in neutral and could start rolling and cause an injury. You missed the governer cut in and cut out and build time on the air brake check.Cut-in: 85psi minimum Cut-out: 130psi max Blow-off: 150psi Low air warning: 55-75psi Auto application: 20-45psi
you didn't say anything about air pressure build up .when warning light goes off .and how long it takes air to build from 75 to 90 lbs then the air compressor governor kicke's off
Love the video but when you inspected underneath the bus on the passenger side on the tire you called the brake chamber the air chamber. I could be wrong since I’m using your video to help me get my cls B

well only if its an official pre trip but if u need to do one and ur really going to go some where or do ur route then yea it should take to 10 to 15 minutes

And not to mentioned with the Child Crossing Gate, it fully extends while the bus is operating and it works with the conjunction with the stop sign.

In Texas we are not required to chock our wheels unless parked on an incline......however where I live it is pretty flat!

Obvioiusly, some people apparently have more than 8 minutes ( like my location gives) to do a complete pretrip

it is important to know detail but this help for mechanics but drivers inspection time should be shorter than this .

Depends on what state you are in. NJ, this is what is required at the time of your CDL road test.

This is all necessary in California. And you do this as a test for the CHP before the drive test.

42 minutes to do a pre trip way to long should take 10 , 15 minutes
i drive a big rig myself, and personally, a pretrip inspection takes as long as you want it to be to feel safe and secure.
