I wonder if the only way AliExpress could sell that board is if one part (the inductor) we're missing or perhaps it was rejected from the original manufacturer.
stumbled acros this one. I've subscribed to your channel, but this one didn't show up. I noticed this one has a label 'hidden' underneath the title. What is that all about?
I didn’t want to risk damaging the component with solder, as it is an inductor a lot of direct heat along the winding could damage insulation, hot air was safer.
nice fix ! the older gen GPS in phones never got fixes inside my house. Newer ones 'do'
weller micro desoldering tweezers, might have done it without the pain of the hot air.
But do cost a lot more than the average hot air station.
Never give up!
Great job 🎉 Moore iPhone, repair videos coming I always love it when the parts go flying lol

It isn't released publicly yet, but will be in a playlist which will be how you found it.
@@TheDefpom Ah ok Yes, it played after the mailbag video. Thanks.
Interesting 😎
should have just used a small tip soldering iron as can be easier and quicker than a hot air gun.
Yup, K style tip for removal and refit......it's not like Defpom don't have one.
