When my father was dying from cancer, I was at his house everyday for MONTHS. I would go after work, stay for a few hours and be home when my husband woke up after his midnight shifts. On my husband’s days off, he would go with me to visit my dad. My husband never complained that I spent so much time with my dad. When my husbands father was diagnosed with cancer, we moved his parents into our home so we can help him get to treatments and stay with my mother in law whom had dementia

Um Leona, darling......Have you no sympathy? What if it was your mother? Grow up and think about someone else for once! Yes, your husband is wrapped up and distracted right now, but you can't control someone's feeling or fears. Losing a parent is tramatic. Your insecurities are going to destroy your marriage. Your husband is going through he'll right now, it would be nice to actually support and comfort him during this time. How about you spend some time with her yourself?

If i had a clingy self entitled spouse like leona that And acted like that saying they need to know where you are every minute and be accused of cheating is a huge red flag if one of my family members were sick and he didn't understand that they had to come first I would leave.him for good it would drive me crazy shes probably cheating on him
Leona just plain ticks me off. Nothing and I mean nothing can prepare someone for that call. We knew we'd get the call one day that my mom had passed away (she was in hospice) but it was still devastating when it came.
