@@gary96397 lead has nothing to do with carburetors. Lead was to help with valve seat issues. It also raised octane . Unless you have added boost (supercharger or turbocharger), or VERY high compression, higher octane will yield LESS power. Ethanol is what harms carburetors

I've had my Husky 162 for 42 years. seized it 2X, freed it 2X. I run a 30:1 mix, doesn't smoke. It's like an old friend. 💪☺️☺️🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have a 30 yr old husky, still going strong... only thing ever replaced was cutter bar, chain and pull cord...
Ll 2 stroke machines run on 2% mix
