Underrated masterpiece, deserves more attention.
👍 Agreed! And when someone ever makes a documentary about 2020 someday, this could be the theme music -- pretty appropriate, methinks...
@@BigMamaDaveX Love both your comments. "Spot on," as they say. :/
Oof we have similar channels
I mean, it's a pretty popular piece.

Miracle...
So beautiful!!
👍😎 I came. I heard. I liked, shared, and SUBBED.
I remember the original piece being of free timing. Still pretty amazing arrangement, though! Still the same loved piece.
I was wondering why my score didn't have any measures >.>
You're back!
Easy but amazing
AMAZING YES, BUT IT DOESNT LOOK THAT EASY, IT HAS 4 FLATS IN IT.
@@zennabella1676 You're right, it is not easy. The rhythm may be slow, but it is complex and has to be perfect, as does the intonation. The flats you get used to fast.
@@zennabella1676 Don't worry, you will play it unconsciously if you repeat the flats before every time you start to play the piece. This technique has helped me a lot during the pièce's learning.
@@l.w.paradis2108 I MAY LEARN THIS.. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.
@@josedonadito THANKS, YEAH, I WANT TO LEARN THE SONG IF I SET UP MY NEW PRINTER I CAN PRINT OUT THE MUSIC. IM SO LAZY THESE DAYS, MY NEW PRINTER HAS BEEN SITTING ON MY FLOOR FOR ABOUT A YEAR. ITS NOT SET UP TO MY LAP TOP YET.

This has the same intro as the Polonaise from Bach's Orch. Suite No. 2. Just in 4/4 instead of 3/4
What is the purpose of the rest which is on the notes ? (In the F cleff) What does it mean ?
im pretty sure that isnt the F clef
It’s bass clef, and it indicates holding the lower note as the cord is played. Essentially meaning in this case to use the pedal.
Finnigan Sargeant so there isn’t a rest there then. ?
The note on the 1st beat of each bar is meant to be held for 4 counts (but use the pedal as it's physically impossible to hold it while playing the chords) but after one count continue playing the next chord while the bass note is still resonating for 3 more counts. Think of it as a different voice (bass) while the chords are in the tenor voice. The bass goes on for 4 counts while the tenor joins in on the 3rd count, overlapping with the bass.
It's there because there are two voices being played at the same time. One voice has the quarter note rests and the chords, the other has the whole notes. While the whole note is being held, you wait for the duration of a quarter note before playing the chord, that's what it means.
Of course, in that particular case you need to use the pedal to hold the whole note, but that is not what it means, as someone else suggested. If it was possible to hold it without using the pedal, that's what you would do. It's a rest, it means the same thing all rests do.
If you're not familiar with multiple voices on the same staff, look up some fugues, and it'll make the concept more clear.
where can i find notes?
I find this strangely similar to the potion shop sound track from zelda ocarina of times, why do I hear everything based off zelda lmao
The contrary to contrariness... :-)
Who knows in which film used this music pice
Mohammad Abo Shakra ,
Hugo movie,
And its present in watchdogs 2 to a video game and somehow this music is similar to sigma characters music from overwatch to a video-game..
The Painted Veil
Chocolat
It was also used as theme music in an episode from Season 9 of ‘Agatha Christie’s Poirot’ with David Suchet as Hercule Poirot. The name of the episode is ‘Five Little Pigs’.
queen's gambit ❤️
I look like a text that I can translate I dont know why... think its all about that
Imagine this : your in a place you hear this being played , you follow the sound , it leads you to a man playing the piano , you notice it’s your childhood best friend playing the piano , you guys reconnect together as friends the end
Tempo is waaay to high
Me suena a España.

No time signature?
C means common time (4/4)
Satie invented type of non-time signature called free time where the time signature is non-existent. It can be represented via an X where the time signature would go, or the letters FREE I descending order down the lines, or a lack of a te signature all together. Rhythm freetime can still exist, but there is no time signature and measures can last however long the composer wants them to, and the values of notes can vary.
@@interrexclamacion bullshit dude he did not rewrite the laws of music as for this piece it's in common time 4/4 you pulled that whole thing out of the air didn't you?
@@chicoassmaster4293 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gnossiennes
4/4 = c . C = common time signature. Common time signature = 4/4 = 4 quarter notes in a bar
Sigma’s song.
Amelie soundtrack much? interesting...
It might sound like that one, but Amelie's soundtrack is by Jean-Pierre Jeunet :-)
Well, there did not seem to be much of a difference between piano and forte.
Nije dobar tempo..Ravna linija.
Da, original pesma nema stalan tempo, nego su isti delovi svirani drugacije svaki put kada ih odsvira.
Ali mislim da su pogresili tempo jer su ga odsvirali u programu a ne na klaviru.
took me about 10 minutes to master it before i realized there was like... 3 sentences in this whole piece repeated ad nauseam. this is really disappointing
Just listen . You must give yourself to hearing andcfeeling. Imagine a singer in thus music w the piano. It's all it needs to be if you're a musician. Young people think fast notes impress people U don't touch them cuz musically you're saying nothing. First learn how to create a mood within yourself and then communicate that and THEN YOUVE DONE SOMETHIHG FEW EVER DO. Try with a dimple piece or u I ur Chopin etudes and Beethoven sonatas Wil only impress people who like U know nothing.
Terrible sound quality
