GDMenu SD Card Setup on Dreamcast GDEmu Mod

In a previous video I showed you how I upgraded my Sega Dreamcast and replaced the GDRom drive with a GDEmu. Now I need to setup my SD Card with games.

What was the point of remove the image SEGA image, was it a personnal preference?

Yes, just personal preference. I wanted the games to look and load just as they were originally from the disc. Doesn't affect game load time or anything. I also found that if I simply Zero out the first three characters "MR*" then the bios image no longer loads.

thank you, i was able to get my cdi files to show up properly named in the menu. i haven't tried SD card maker yet, i have been able to get my cdi and gdi games to register dropping everything manually into numbered folders. but only gdi files work when trying to press abxy start to reset to gdemy menu. i haven't gotten it work work on cdi files. any suggestions or is that just how it is?

Hmm, I haven't had issues with cdi files. I like them because the files are smaller. I did find a program called "GD-ROM Explorer" that can verify if the cdi files are good.

yeh but what about if you have a mac?

There is a a version of the sdcard maker that might run on a mac after installing .NET core. I haven't tried it on my mac, so your YMMV. github.com/sonik-br/GDMENUCardManager
