  • The Definitive Ranking of The Wealthiest Americans In 2024
    America's superrich are riding high again. After losing a collective $500 billion last year, the nation’s 400 wealthiest people have gained it all back. This elite set is now worth $4.5 trillion in aggregate, tying a record set in 2021, and it takes $2.9 billion to make The Forbes 400, another tied record. Half the gains came from rebounding technology stocks. Eight tech moguls added $10 billion or more to their fortunes.

      So tomorrow, father's day. I am planning on taking my son out with me and we are going to be driving around and look for men asking for money and those that are father's I am going to give money to as many as I can find. I've done it before but wasn't to father's on father's day. I've been a fighter all my life, I'm a bigger guy that's likes working out, long beard covered in tattoos, bit rough around the edges and retired Army. I know my son sees that part of me. But what is more important is how I please God and I want my son to see that a man can be tough and rough and still care for people that he doesn't know. That he can be tough and compassionate and even though we don't have a lot of money that we are still blessed and that we can bless others others around us. These people made their fortunes on products or services people were willing to pay for. They took risks and were successful more often than not. Homelessness, starvation, the poor, these people donate a lot to various charities already. If you applaud how these individuals can “help” any cause, they could spend their entire fortunes and there would still be people to “help” afterwards.

    • @crptnite
      @crptnite 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most of the "charities" to which "these people" you speak of donate tend to be their own personal tax shelters, not any actual "help" for anybody. This is bs. Taxpayers are paying the PRIVATELY OWNED Federal Reserve around a trillion dollars on the interest alone each and every year and it rises each and every year. This has been going on for over a hundred years. Wouldnt they be the richest in the world? Not billionaires, trillionaires.

    The sad part it’s already been done and all it did was make everybody lazier to the point they quit jobs and demanded over the top pay to come back. If you ask when and who , the answers are during covid and the government, so many people were getting government assistance for everything. I knew about some people that were receiving close to $2800.00 per month. So they had no reason to go back to work All they had to do was go out and apply to jobs and show proof that they asked for a job so they would get a business card and manager name.

      A dozen eggs cost $1.59 three years ago and now I look everywhere just to find them on sale for $4.99. Meanwhile, these people have been wealthy for decades. So, they are using their greed just lately?

      @@landonor1I bought eggs yesterday for $1.67 a dozen. Don't know where the hell you shop. Milk is $2.49 a gallon and a pound of ground beef was $4.99.

    • @landonor1
      @landonor1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@margaretkinnaman8585 okay. Well that would make my point for me. Prices can’t be high because of the greed of billionaires because, they were greedy only for a few years and now they have gone back to not being greedy since prices are down? Meanwhile, they were billionaires before inflation and are still billionaires now that prices have gone back down.
      And yes, that is how much I pay for eggs and now I don’t eat them. The cheap bread is $3.00 a loaf compared with $.99, milk is $3.89 and was $2.49. I can find ground beef on sale for $3.99 if I’m lucky.
