Just found your video and cooked a beaver skull just this week after it dried out for 8 months because I got busy doing other things, found your video and was given by my wife. So far a couple of molars are falling out, but the meat is coming off nicely. Each day I make a little progress. Thanks for a great video!
Yeah after sitting a long time it makes it alot more difficult, fresh or frozen work well, super glue back in parts that fall off or break away let me know if you have any questions!
@@OutdoorExperiences Would I be able to do this method with a goat head? Also, does the soap added to the water take away the need to degrease or should I still degrease before whitening?
It should work with them as well you will most likely want to use laundry detergent just a bit better at degreasing compared to dish soap then the whitening phase will finish it off typucally
The ol lady would blast my ass just having it in the house. Lol. Like the crockpot idea. I may go get me my own. Or take hers and buy a new one!🤔. She’d like that. Good vid man. New sub here. Learned a few tricks!
How long till it yellows from the residual oils in the skull ? I found your video looking for how to decrease a beaver skull. I've had deer skulls done professionally and eventually they begin yellow.... Mop & Glow certainly won't prevent this from happening..
I still have that same skull and it's still hasn't yellowed, mop and glow is just there to help keep dust off and seal it, i degrease with water and dawn dish soap for multiple weeks

Do you ever have issues witht the teeth cracking when they dry out? I know when some people prepare boar skulls they'll fill the tusks with epoxy...
I have not had anything like that only the teeth start to fall out of you try to peroxide for too long but with that you can super glue in

Thanks for stopping by! Yeah something to discuss or hide haha but that's up to you!
Nice video thanks man!
Glad you liked it!
Does the brain come out easily/ do you do anything special to remove it?
Comes out pretty easy with some water pressure when cooked then just a wire or something to get in thete
How much do these things go for
Depending on size and your customer base 20-50 bucks
@@OutdoorExperiences nice i found the whole skeleton but i only took the skull kts decent size like 5.5 long 4 wide and its complete
That's very nice definitely will worth it to grab and clean up!
