I liked this one. Classic multi card combo that is completely disguised. And when you play Soridormi, there’s nothing they can do (other than kill you). Delicious.
Ended up getting the OTK on turn 7 anyway, but I'm surprised you took more Emissaries when you already had one and could've just taken Brann. Extended BM or am i miscounting?
I can't craft alexstraza the life-binder, said can be unlock by completing the tutorial, can anyone help me? my account created 5 years ago, what tutorial did I missed?
@@thechamp6813Platebreaker isn't a dragon, so it doesn't get reduced by Emissary. It also reduces the chances for Horn to summon the very needed Whelps.
@@LorenzoCaFirstly it is still more likely to draw a dragon(5/7 minions), on top you could cut it for a Naaru shard since its still just meh. Second part: If he does use the entire combo without getting duplicates and additional cost reduction(highly unlikely) he still has the 5 Mana left on Turn 10. So if he would need to assembly the Amber Whelps he would maybe gain a turn or two in a scenario where the enemy has like 2 -7 Armor. But otherwise he may win against Ice Block mages, Druids and Warriors and is faster against any non armor whielders
@@thechamp6813 if you're aiming for turn 10, then your argument has zero weight. The way Mark made it makes the deck viable in Wild. If you're aiming for turn 10 in any game, then you probably lost already.
I guess not but I think it just allows the combo to be pulled off earlier. Otherwise it costs 9 mana total but with discounts you can do it as soon as your dormant dragon awakens
I think the point is to draw the dragons ASAP, Frizz is more if you loaded your deck with tons of them. Sure, it might help sometimes, but what would you cut instead? Diluting your minion pool makes your wincon less consistent, and while you could take out the Whelps and put a Frizz in, you’d probably be better off with spells instead of Whelps.
Hey Mark, I had an idea for a deck that revolves around a bad legendary. Mekgineer Thermaplugg. Use a deathspeaker to give it immune, give a grim patron to the opponent, and use a defile effect to generate infinite leper gnomes. I'm not very experienced in deck building, so this may not be very likely, but I thought I'd share!
Not a very good idea since there's a lot of weird variables and it's just a worse version of other decks that do similar things. There'd have to be a 1 health minion for defile to trigger again and it can't be the grim patron because he'd need atleast 2 health, I believe the leper gnome would appear in time for it to chain multiple times but again, it's just a worse version of other better combos though.
@@konkurer775 I know that it's not good, but it uses a legendary that not many people may know about, let alone play. So I thought suggesting it could be an interesting idea, since Mark has made some combos work with insane odds.

I am suprised you didn't remove the Amber Whelps after that first game. Cause they just didn't do anything but disrupt the minion tutor spells.
Those are for opponents with Armor. Just didn't happen to run into any for the video.
