Johnny Carson is an icon of commedian, so is Mr. David Letterman as well! God bless these two commedians.. Also I will like to thanks to the Honorable Judge Joseph A. Wapner for his great service in the Justice system in California, I would've loved to see him in the supreme court.. God bless you Sir!!!
Johnny Carson and David Letterman might have hated each other but this showed they were both Comedic GOLD together!!! Playing off one another UNSCRIPTED with hilariousness! Kudos to both men for making American laugh!
Bond Pyant they didn't hate each other. Carson thought of Letterman as his successor- he scouted Letterman in 1976. He even sent Letterman jokes after he retired because he got a kick out of watching Letterman use his material on his show. Johnny Carson's last TV show appearance was on Letterman as a huge surprise & Letterman credits his success to his mentor, Johnny Carson. They sure were comedic gold!!! All unscripted gold!!
This is one of my all time favorite talk show segments ever.
I love how Johnny gives Dave the "GE Handshake" at the very end! :)
I would bet that $25 is framed in glass somewhere in Dave's home.
