You always have to get through their labels (that most of the time don't even pick up their phones), then the recording/mixing/mastering engineer and then the artists itself. It's so cumbersome...

What Im saying is: Dont try to sound like women behind the decks or whatever is something revolutionary.. ->as long as they are good looking, lives in Berlin, as long as they are not inbred germans, as long as they most likely didnt start off organizing clubs from scratch in their hometown at a very young age while their sausage friends were not helping out. As long as their sausage friends were just visitors at their parties, staying at the pre parties until 00.00 snorting while the women did the soundcheck ;). Last time I saw female dj:s they rocked the house completely but mixed like crap, and I think its symptomatic. If I lets say was invited to a hairdresser festival because "theres so few hetero guys in the business" how would I perform? What would my effort look like? I dont know.
