Hey Vaibhav, can you tell me are there 1. any maintenance issues you're facing. I heard the silencer get rusty 2. Mileage you're getting now 3. Do you recommend buying the new fz25 BS6. I see the sales figures is so good, people go for Apache.
@@prema428 bhai i am a apache user i can tell u one thing go for fz because the problem i am currently facing is that gear shifts are not so smooth but was shifting smoothly when it was new engine se ek harsh awaaz atha hai wo aapko khud mesoos hoga agar aap kise 1-2kms roung marke aoge toh and mileage is not good at all mera 2 service ho chuke hai fir bhi 30-32 max de rha hai and bike bahut bhaari bhi hai compare to fz u better go for fz
@@prema428 The best thing of FZS25 is the way the weight is distributed, it feels better than even the current R15( only based on weight distribution). And the low and midrange torque is the main oomph.. The only con l find is the gear shift is slick but its hard. Moreover mileage is always 38 to 42 km/pl under mixed riding
Bought my fzs fi v2.0 cyber green colour in september 2014.. It may look underpowered on paper, but trust me in real life it is a fun bike to ride. Have done so many trips with it and never got disappointed. The power to weight ratio is pretty good as it's a light motorcycle. And honestly the engine is a gem. I have maintained it properly and it still runs like a new bike with zero problems. I also have a R15 v2 but the fz engine is smoother.
@@sebastian_manuells depends on where I ride it. In my locality it's very busy traffic, so I get between 40 to 45 kmpl (depends on various situations). But in highways if I maintain the speed around 80 kph, it returns an average of around 50kmpl
@@Dr.StudRider007 I'm also driving a ver 2.0 (non S) since 2016. I'm getting about 55 in city & 62 in highway. Maybe it's because I'm from a tier 2 city with lesser traffic. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experience.
That's was a great video ! I own a FZ V3 and for that past 1.5 years I've got no issues and problem, it is such a nice motorcycle. Only discomfort I feel is the little harder rear suspension.

I won a fzs v3 dark knight 2020 edition . In 2 years I used it as commuter, tourer for long drives (450 kms/day) and adventure as well. I climbed at hills with those flat radial tyres. Trust me this is the best 150cc muscle commuter in Indian market
I have a fzs v1 bought in jan 2012. Completed 51000 km and it's still going strong. Roughly I ride 60km (since corona virus came into the picture) each day but i dont feel any stress whatsover. Very happy with the performance
I own a 2012 FZs.. amazing one.. then came the long waited Fz25.. in 2017 immediately bought that.. but my usage pattern of riding bikes reduced.. guess what I sold the fz25.. and I’m still happy with my well maintained 2012 FZs.. still gives me a big smile whenever I start.. I don’t even have the heart to try any other bike.. I believe this is going to be my lifetime bike.. and I’m so happy😊😊
In the Philippines, when it first came out, my dad bought one immediately and it was a looker out in the streets. And now I inherited it and an nmax, both amazing but FZ16 is something else
The 1st gen FZ/FZ-16/FZS was true muscular. It had that grunt in it the torque master what a great drag it offered on acceleration. The fat tyre changed the trend and the huge tank just added the perfect head turner element, I mean it had driven crazy ever since its launch

Great video! However, you missed that FZ/FZ-S BS6 2020 (12.4 PS, 13.6 NM) and FZ/FZ-S BS6 2021 (12.2 PS, 13.4 NM) stay quite similar in looks but the 2021 version is an utter disappointment when actually driven on-road with re-mapped ECU and the modified exhaust note. I own a 2020 version and my friend owns a 2021 version.
I too use to own Fazer 25, i felt it was amazing bike.. had to sell it as recently we got a car and the family expanded, else I would had love to continue with the bike.
I own a fazer 2012 model... It's still a head Turner.... And the machine is still buttery smooth even after 100000 plus kms... Amazing experience!!!! Thanks Yamaha for this superbike

In 2013 or 14.... The FZ, FZ-S, Fazer got a small update : the headlight shape (the external plastic coverings) on the FZ, and new grab handles for all the 3 bikes. And the Fazer had a red coloured monoshock.
FZ was my first love when I was in class 8 2010. My uncle had one he used to rev the nuts out with that wide tyre 👹 Now in 2024 I'm driving a FZ 2012 model, what they used to sell in 2015..

I still carry Yamaha Fazer 153cc 2010 & it still compete with max of 120 kms /hr speed & u can check it at man on Mission Series Part -1 video aty channel... It is crazy to have fazer still with such looks & designs... In my option Yamaha Fazer was the best design Yamaha ever made, if Yamaha had worked on it's led light with same Yamaha Fazer looks which I believe is inspired from eagle ... It has been a huge success.. 2nd bike after 11yrs of celebrating Yamaha I bought is TVS RR310 ... I proudly say RR 310 I bought coz of fazer Xperience & design... However Fazer can still do uphilling & downhilling v comfortably that RR 310 can't coz of it's base height! Fazer is a Legend a low maintenance- no maintenance commuter Bike & I believe v-1 will be one day a Antics just like RX100. 📢
I love FZ25 but its just too much powerful for my need, i love FZ15 too but its just a bit underpowered i wish they had a similar 200cc FZ.....that would be perfect!! Even a 180cc FZ would be great!!
you said when yamaha launched fz v 2.0 yamaha fans got disappointed but from my perspective they did not disappointed us i agree that yamaha fz s or 16 still looks fresh and fz v2.0 power was dropped down but you should know when you ride fz v 2.0 it feels very less drop in power and it has a very unique look and according to me a proper upgrade of yamaha fz v 1 and fz v1 was falling down bcz of its low mileage so yamaha came up with fi technology in 150 segment when no one dreamed of it and it is the best tuned fi till date bcz fz 2.0 can give a mileage of even 60 to 65 kmpl so again its a plus one for fz v2.0 and no one can even be close to yamaha in terms of reliability i have owned v1 and currently owning 2.0 and i am happy with both
As a Yamaha Fan Boy, my first bike was Yamaha Libero 2004 model. Used it for 10 years with full satisfaction & bought the Yamaha FZ V2 in 2015....still riding with smile....but I really disappointed with Yamaha, on the launch of FZ-X.....my next dream bike from Yamaha is XSR 155........& I have a doubt, weather it's come true or no......
Owned a Yamaha FZS 2009 Yellow Black which was just brilliant at that time with no vibration (started biking with Hero Honda CBZ Yellow Silver Black which was crazy after 80), grippy 140 section tyre (but too soft and prone to puncture), fantastic mileage and top speed (some good tips followed during the initial run in period made it deliver 40 in the city and 55 on the highway with a speedo top speed of 125). Sold it in 2011 but till date, cherish the experience. I still feel Yamaha did no justice with subsequent versions till date including the FZ25.

The FZ V1 was the volume churner for Yamaha 10 years after the legendary RX100..... Have ridden both, the FZ didn't have that peak power like the RX100, but was made to impress the torque lover which the R15 failed to (due to power/torque present only above 7000rpm)
I bought the first Yamaha fz 16 in my city in 2008. Yamaha was offering Rs 5000 student discount on this bike. I remember buying the bike at Rs 67,000 or something (on road price). I still have the same Yamaha fz 16 in blazing red color.

How can you forget the Yamaha FZ-S 2.0 10th anniversary edition with 1st time dual disc variant in FZ-S?
I'm the first owner of YAMAHA FZ16 in 2008 in my distt....still ride is go on & on...
The FZ V1 was the volume churner for Yamaha 10 years after the legendary RX100..... Have ridden both, the FZ didn't have that peak power like the RX100, but was made to impress the torque lover which the R15 failed to (due to power/torque present only above 7000rpm)
I bought the first Yamaha fz 16 in my city in 2008.
Yamaha was offering Rs 5000 student discount on this bike. I remember buying the bike at Rs 67,000 or something (on road price).
I still have the same Yamaha fz 16 in blazing red color.

In 2013, fz16 biggest competitor was pulsar 200ns. It was even priced similar to fz16. You forgot to mention that.
