Very enjoyable series. Would've liked to see both stacked up against a middle contender (I have a Kitchenaid Pro 600 which is practically famous for being best in bracket) that's somewhere between as a third option. Thank you for having an actual affordable option. To most people even the kitchen aid is way too expensive. But it would have been cool to see the $50 one up against the kitchen aid as well
For everyone claiming "I never heard of Wolf"; it's a "No name brand." Wolf is the newish line of countertop appliances from Sub-Zero, hardly a "no name" brand. I prefer a good ol standard Kitchenaid their expensive but their totally worth it I even have a hand held mixer for doing hand held options because of the stir function its way slower than a standard hand held mixer :)
Diminishing returns at its finest. I'd love to see some mid-range added to the test, something like Bosch MUM series, to see if it could deliver best per $ experience.

There's one thing that still bothers me about these stand mixers, and many others just like them. While the meat grinder is running, the spindle underneath is also whirling around, creating a potential hazard. Why haven't the manufacturers either figured out a system to disengage the spindle or some kind of clip on guard to cover the area to minimise the risks. I've seen it happen in a commercial setting, I shudder to think of something like that happening in the home.
, I have a 7 quart Cuisinart. Purchased this, instead of the Kitchen Aid because of the ex lg bowl. Really wish that I’d known more about mixers, before purchasing. With this model Cuisinart, there’s no whisk attachment available. The design us very poor. The mixing paddles never reach all of the ingredients. Made a triple batch of buttercream, a few days ago. It was impossible to get all of the butter mixed. Had to remove and try to whip by hand.
The cheaper machines use nylon gear that get destroyed ( intentionally designed to break before the metal parts ) when put under excess strain such as heavy meat grinding Kitchenaid not the cheapest ALSO uses these parts Would be nice to know what the high end mixer uses inside
