I don’t play Sett enough to fully understand, but share a distaste towards riots favouritism for oogabooga botrk champs - instead of finding ways to healthily uphold the bruiser fantasy
If your behind on sett into a tank, build a lethality item, my choice is opportunity, but edge of night is good too. Similarly, build sundered sky first if you fall behind against trading focused bruisers, or if they have a way to dive you, for example renekton, jax, fiora. Sundered sky makes their trades less brutal, and gives you some sustain, which makes your lane a little more playable, and makes it hard/impossible for them to dive you solo. My other top tip if all else fails, build a hullbreaker if there is a sidelaner who cant just outright turbo-fist you, if they have a bruiser mid or diana for example, even if their toplaner will mog you otherwise. You can cheese wins/claw back into the game by taking the opportunity to break open enemy base if they accidentally put a sidelaner who can't just fist you in your lane.
Been playing a lotta sett recently, and have managed to claw back a bunch of games while completely cooking the early game by making use of stuff as seen above. Doesn't always work, but i haven't dropped lp despite maining sett the past few weeks.

Needing to build bork so you don't get stat checked in all ins against shit like olaf, trundle and voli does indeed feel bad.
I feel like that on pantheon sometimes, when PTA and empowered W are more worth building an item for then the entire rest of my kit because chain vest tabis makes the enemy immune to my damage lmao.
Needing to crutch on strong items like bork indeed sucks.
I don't play Sett in SR but whenever I play him in aram, I notice I'm just a glorified tank support, want to engage? too bad, you're gonna take all the cc trying to walk up even if you snowball in, if I want to survive more than 3 seconds I have to build tank, but now I'm screwed because I do no damage, even to an adc because I have no ad. Even when building tank you can't do anything cause you don't scale with hp and conqueror is such a bad rune now. For a champ that looks 100x physically fit than all other champs, he feels very weak, I'm not saying he should stomp people but it's very noticeable how weak he is, also I have a very hard time sticking to people, they just end up walking away. Anyways, yapping on here about how much this is this and that is that on here won't do much, you have to have mass amounts of support tickets and lots of complaints on twitter to do anything about it cause that's how they ended up making snowflakes dominate the game.
ARAM sett gets like 20% more dmg taken, 20% less dmg dealt, 20% less shielding and a big cooldown nerf, i avoid having it on my team tbh.

That Patch is the worst for me. I build Sundredsky Eclipse and steraks on nearly every of my favorite bruisers. Than my renekton or kayn gets three nervs in one patch. I think thats not fair. 😕

As a Sett main is so so so hard to say that but the only way it s a boycot. Sadly we are sabotaging ourself with the *Sett it fine* comments. I was trying to prove and type and do all I could with post, comments, reactions etc. to try to save our champ but the only way to do that if by uniting the Sett mains. Gald to see you making a video about it. Seems like our only hope it s that Autolykus fanbase to get on our side and the man suck is pride and accept that the champ is trash. Damn boy I don t want to be like him and abuse another champ to climb. I want to play Sett (and Sett to be at least decent). I'd rather quit than play Morde, Voli every secone matchup. Idk about a boycott, and auto isn't popular enough to head a movement like that. Sett players will play sett. For a long time now the champ has been miserable to play so idk. I genuinely think riot doesn't care about this champ and it sucks. It doesn't help that a lot of sett players like to cope that he's good when they're clearly not having fun most of the time :/
