There's 2 things that's constant to PGR music. 1) The music splits into different parts (menu theme & combat theme) 2) Synthesizer Aside from that, anything goes I guess. Even one of the music is inspire by a legit opera performance.

That's the thing, PGR doesn't have a single bad soundtrack, hell, even the simple ones from the start of the game are good, I can only say Vanguard is the GOAT. also another great thing is that some bosses do special things at some points in their OST, the one from this does her special attack at 10:17 as you can imagine and is SOOO GOOOOOD AAAHHH-
In My Memory is def in my top fav PGR songs. I was addicted back when it came out. Can't wait until we get the event in global! Check out the newest theme for Wanshi: Adversity. And I saw other people recommending Watanabe's: Endless Path. Endless Path is quite possibly my #1 fav PGR song and can't recommend that enough.
So about Pattern, it's because it's "Released" version , it's redacted versions of OST's from respected Patch, combined and polished in one Track. In game it's may be 3 or 4 different OST's . Suggestions: 1. "Dust" one of OLD one's. 2. "To the limit" one of NEW one's. 3. "Sie liebten sich beide" + "Shattered doll" old and quite Experimental.
Or it was the way around (one OST being split into several parts for the game). It would be hard to remix different OST that has different genre and tempo.
