There’s loads of different groups that you can join, especially sports like pickle ball, badminton, beach paddle, Hash Harriers etc, some on Facebook or just running into people. I’ve been living in the Jomtein area nearly 5 years. It takes time to build up regular things to do!
32°C in Jomtien low season AND at our place 🇨🇵 at the same time high season 😮. No wonder we're planning 3 months every year mid-June to mid-September ASAP. 💰🤞+1
Hey Neil, just a suggestion, I'd book & pay up front into a Thai Boxing Gym and go 'every other evening'. Every night is too much & no fun! It'll give you 'routine' and 'achievements to aim for' (rewards) and follow it religiously. You'll feel much better too matey! See you over there one day matey.
Hi mate. Enjoying the videos. I'm over in Patts from 1 Nov until end of December. Agree with the routine thing. I'm planning on a good 4-5k walk early morning and the same in the evening. Can't be boozing all the time!
Will be here in no time fella! Yeah it's not easy when it's on your doorstep. So focusing on the morning walks and healthy living helps me. Thabks for the comment t
That would be a "visa WAIVER" as a British passport holder; it gives you 2 months, then you can extend one month at immigration (making 3 months - rinse and repeat) or just go out and come back every two months. The Visa Waiver is a stamp in your passport, obtained when going through immigration (like at any border). The stamp shows the date before which you must leave Thailand. VOA - "visa on arrival" is a different, more strict thing, not applicable to many countries' citizens.
Hi mate, if your from the UK and many other countries you get a visa on arrival for 60 days and then you can extend for 30 days i believe at Jomtien imigration. Where are you thinking of staying?
@@pattayanewbie5075 I always stay in hotels round about soi 7 and 8 also naklue near terminal 21 hotel about 1000 baht a night. Will be coming end of October thanks for the info appreciate.

A UK passport holder gets 60 days free. Visa exempt. NOT visa on arrival. Two different things.
@@G1875S cheers
@@G1875SCan you then get an extension for 30days?
