Can we use this on quiz? I'm using a plugin for quiz but it doesn't support countdown timer so that the quiz automatically ends when timer is over and result shows up

That's odd. It may be conflicting with another plugin. Did you log out of the site and test it?

That would be some add on to your cart system. Are you using Woo Commerce?
Does this shortcode work in Elementor?
I've not tested it with Elementor but you could tweet or email the Elementor dev team to ask them if shortcodes are compatible.
