      These dudes are sounding real ignorant right now and obviously don't watch these games enough there The only logical point they made was that they haven't done it in a playoffs yet. I agree with that because after the All-Star is when teams really start playing hard so yes we should wait before we crown them. Let's see what they do in the playoffs

    In the New CBA it’s almost impossible to build a superteam by trading players or even signing free agents.
    The only way to do it now is by drafting and developing.
    That’s why the Lakers should start the rebuild as soon as possible instead of sticking with Bron and AD.

    Build with your youth you don’t need to bring anything in at all. Bringing Butler or anyone will disrupt the chemistry because Butler gonna wanna be the lead dog and try to takeover the team. Let them progress the league is winning on building with what you got via how the warriors did and how OKC, Memphis and now Houston.

    • @dashcash8538
      @dashcash8538 8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yeah, I think these guys are looking at this way too one-sided they're looking at Houston immediately wants to be a contender. If they make the move for Jimmy Butler, it certainly helps him contend this year, but what happens after is what nobody's looking at. Jimmy is mad because he doesn't have the max contract he wants wherever he gets traded to. He wants that bread. Why would Houston give up assets for half a season of Jimmy Butler? After that if they don't pay him he leaves or he doesn't play for you. If you do pay him then you just committed 50 plus million dollars to a 36 plus-year-old player.
      Houston is way better off doing what OKC did, last year they rose up in the standings and had a great run. They even won a playoff series but they lost the playoff series for the same reason. They struggled against Denver and Minnesota last year. They didn't have enough size down low to get rebounds and defend the post. They could have easily made a big trade and got a big name to help them down low but instead they just waited it out built on their success they had from the regular season and because they had enough cap space they signed hartenstein.
      If I'm Houston I just see where the season takes us. Let these guys find out how good they are or how willing they are to grow during the rest of the season and whatever happens in the playoffs. Regardless, if they win a playoff series or not, many of their young players gain the experience and confidence from finally having a successful season to go into the offseason and work on the things that they know they need to work on to build themselves better off their success. Meanwhile, Houston can just sit back and wait for a good deal to happen, whether that's through the draft through the off-season. Or maybe they just don't make any moves at all because everyone on their team is Young and gets better, I'd rather take that chance and try to make a desperation short-sighted move. Even if they do make a short-sighted desperation move, they have the assets to fix it. But why fix something that doesn't need to be fixed at the moment

    Houston is ahead of schedule and can stay put as currently constructed because their best players are young and only need to continue to play winning basketball and gain confidence through their success and experience through winning and losing in the regular season. They have a veteran point guard who has won an NBA Championship in Fred Vanvleet. I'm a Cavalier's fan but I am a fan of basketball more than anything. I believe Houston Rockets can win it all as long as they continue building great habits because that's what the regular season is about and also trying to get the best record you can get for playoff seeding purposes.

    The only thing Houston really needs is an athletic big to protect the paint. Just a backup because Sengun has improved tremendously this year on the defensive side of the ball. When he goes out of the game, the Rockets suffer on both sides of the ball.
    Adams is great but still recovering from his ACL injury so he can't be relied on to provide real rim protection and of course can't provide the full switching D that Houston likes to run.
