I'm not sure if it's just me but watching her recent interviews for Wednesday she seems more tense and serious compared to how she acted in this interview. It's something in her body language and intonation that's different; she seems more 'free' here. I speculate the change has to do with the pressure for portraying such an iconic character as Wednesday, but she genuinely killed her role and I hope she knows that people aren't just saying that! Anyways, it's clear she's insanely talented. I can't wait to see what project she'll be in next.
I think its also just about how much she matured. She was 15 in this interview and now shes 20 in the recent ones, so i think its also just her maturity level yk. But yeah i agree, she killed her role as wednesday!

It’s for promotion purposes. Her team most likely told her to act like Wednesday in recent interviews because fans like seeing celebrities act like the characters they play, it feels more real. So I don’t think it’s because of maturing, she’s clearly a naturally friendly sweet person.
I had the same feeling. Her attitude and voice tone changed . She was care free and now she's less open it seems.
i also noticed this, but idk i think probably its just maturity, she was so young in this, but also she revealed in some recent interviews that she's struggled with depression and anxiety, and these can be a lot to some people, but who knows
