An exploration of the influence of Calvinism on contemporary American Culture. Note - The Catholic church has a history of attacking witches and others, notably Jews, who they perceived to threaten their communities. There were theological differences in the attacks from Protestantism, but this seemed of little comfort to those threatened by religious authorities.
