Dear Sister, I found this video extremely helpful. As a Ghanaian teacher based in the North West Province of South Africa, with 13 years of experience in the education sector, I'm always eager to learn and grow. Currently, I'm pursuing my PhD at North West University in Mafikeng. Thank you so much for sharing this valuable resource! 🙏 I'm actually planning a trip to Taiwan soon, and I'm excited to explore new opportunities and experiences.
Thank you a lot for your time, and to sharing the information with us. It's been 4 years now after I have completed my Bed degree here in SA but still nothing promising, I have spent a lot of money moving around the provinces but I didn't even get a call for interview, I had only called for teaching assistant interviews and I get a lot of experience there because sometimes I used to teach grade 12 because in those schools the former teacher had green pastures to other schools, like going to be the departmental heads in other schools. So I will also like to come and teach in Taiwan
Amazing job Thembelihle, you left no stone unturned, very thorough! 🙏🏾❤️ when does the school year start in Taiwan? Like for us here in SA it’s from January to December, I’m America it starts in September, etc

Lihle, about the teaching license, do I need to provide a SACE CERTIFICATE? Do anyone know how long to get it in Pretoria when applying for it? Remember in SA we normally use the SACE number. Any suggestions on SACE CERTIFICATE, please
Hi Phindile. When applying for the SACE certificate in Pretoria (Centurion) it's a same day process and takes about 2 hours from the time you submit your application to the time you get your certificate. SACE also has offices in Durban, Bloemfontein, Polokwane and East London, last time I checked. The permanent certificate costs R200. When applying for it, you need certified copies of your ID, matric certificate, degree certificate, academic record and police clearance certificate (you can also use an AfiSwitch clearance which takes up to 48 hours for you to get it after applying for it, but it costs more than the SAPS one). Generally, most schools prefer that you submit a certified copy of your SACE certificate when submitting your application or CV so I definitely would advise that you make the permanent one. I hope this information helps💞.
