    I typically just scan a decal sheet then use the trace tool for the item I need. Now I'm going to draw the insignia I need to get a better piece of art to send to my Portrait cutter. Excellent video.

      That is how I started when I first got my cutter, using the trace tool. I noticed the cut was not as clean until I started to draw out the artwork like in the video. Glad I could help you out!

    Thanks for the great tutorial. I've got the latest version of Silhouette studio with my cameo 4. How did you adjust your eraser size so small? In your video you have yours set at .079inch (.2mm). I work in metric & the smallest I can get it is 2mm, I'm working on masks for 1/24 Spitfire serial numbers at around 5mm & I cant erase anything of use. Is it only a feature available in the designer addition? Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers

      If memory serves, I also could only get the eraser so small before it would not let me get it any smaller. I had to get creative by using just the corner of the eraser or erasing a larger area and redrawing in parts I wanted to keep.

    what size cutter are you using ?

      @StyreneModelersHaven  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 12x12 Cameo. It is plenty big enough for scale models and can cut thin sheet styrene too.

    For some reason I am unable to download the Artwork.

      When you click the link to download, the only thing that will show is a download button in the center of the screen, you won't see the actual image. If you are not seeing the download button, email at styrenehaven@gmail.com and I can send it to you.

    Please let me know what program you are using to make you decals. I have had no luck in finding one. Thanks art ps I'm running windows 11 if that helps.

      the program is called Design Studio. I have provided a link in the description of the same video on how to make your first paint mask. You can use that program to send artwork to a vinyl cutter or a printer. Watch this video where I show you how to print your own decals: th-cam.com/video/rBDEh7FVwzE/w-d-xo.html
