I enjoyed your video! We are SC homeschoolers too! We found that we loved New American Cursive. It starts cursive in 1st grade. That doesn't work for everyone, but I have found that it works well for us.
This is excellent! We are trying out TGTB handwriting right now because the first 4 weeks are free on their website. This last year we did A Reason for Handwriting and it was just ok.
I bought TG&TB Handwriting Level 3 for my younger daughter for this year after you talked about using TG&TB handwriting with Sophie. My daughter is LOVING it! I really love how they teach cursive in that level using the colors. Hope everything is going well today.
You make it complicated. You can buy paper with the lines on them to teach letters print or cursive. Show the kid how to write the letter then have them practice by rote memory.

Of course you can. But this video is for people researching popular handwriting curriculum.
It is not that simple for all children and parents unfortunately !
