Home Free has a habit of not just covering a song, but re-making it. Anything they do is superb. Thanks for sharing and loved the reaction.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance harmonizing in the back, Tim adding some bass & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. All their songs are good whether it is serious, heart warming or funny.
Always a great reaction...these guys are fire, no gimmicks, just straight good singing staying true to the original while adding their flair....often not covers but upgrades.
Can't wait until you hear one featuring Chance. He is a hidden gem too.

As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️

I went to their concert last Sunday in Jacksonville, Florida. A good friend and I drove up from Cocoa Beach. They sound damned near produced even when live. They are fabulous and funny entertainers who seem to be genuinely decent human beings who love each other and love their audience as well. Be well, Be Happy, an old vet - Duke

I love this video! Austin does an amazing job. Adam is just incredible. Tim's bass is fantastic. Chance with his beautiful baritone that moves seamlessly into bass when Tim sings. Rob. OMG Rob is unbelievably amazing! The emotions he brings in his beautiful voice. He has so much soul. I want more❤

I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete.
The best A-Cappella group for me!!

You mentioned a Michael Bolton cover, by which you must mean When a Man Loves a Woman. That's not a cover of Michael Bolton, he did a cover. That's a Percy Sledge song from the '60's. Just for fun you should give the original a try! Thanks for great reactions!

Home Free was on the Sing-Off where Shawn Stockman of Boyz 2 Men was a judge and he was blown away with their performance. I like they did the new version of this song and not the original version. Since Michael McCary left the group they redid the song to just sing “lonely” instead of Michaels speech. Some of their other songs you might want to hear are “Elvira” with the Oak Ridge Boys(Oak Ridge Boys reached out to them), “One Voice” with Billy Gilman, “Don’t Laugh at Me” with Mark Wills & his daughter (they did this for anti bullying month), “American Pie” with Don McLean (another artist that reached out to them), All About the Bass”, “Champagne Taste (on a beer budget)”, “Butts Remix”, “9-5” and really any song on their channel.

They have LOTS to explore. Some members during the quarantine also branched out since they were not touring and at home and did some independent songs as well. All different genres. Do wop, opera, musical theatre, classics. etc.

If you were referring to "When A Man Loves A Woman", that song was originally a hit by Percy Sledge. That was long before Michael Bolton did his poor rendition (my opinion). You need to listen to Percy's version also.
Rob and Austin also have a great cover of Nessun Dorma. Remember the fight scene in MI 3, where they have that battle in the catwalk above the Opera scene? You'll recognize it

all vocal, even that synth sound throught in the background provided by Chance....maybe its time for you guys to watch a Chance lead. His silky smooth baritone/bass will grab ya. Several of his leads are -- Cover me up (which you have to watch all the way to the end...past the music, as something special happens), and another is Finally Free, or another one that Chance not only leads, but was also the director of the video, and that would be "I can't outrun you" which has some of their best vocal harmonies ever.
