I live in Long Beach CA and I have one of these and its prolific production for the citrus. Bravo to you keeping this lovely plant in the UK though, small greenhouse effects there can create huge results.

Hope your tree will survive! 🤞 I have a eureka lemon tree that I purchased last spring. It put out loads of fruits throughout spring and summer and by autumn they were all medium sized lemons. I thought it'd be enough to put it in the polytunnel, but I was wrong! 😩... It dropped only a few leaves, but some of my fruits had frost damage! I think it's abit late to get some horticultural fleece, but I've learned a lesson for the next growing season. 😅

Thank you for inspiring me to not give up over winter, I made a lot of mistakes this summer like accidentally sticking pruners in my thumb trying to take care of 8 tomatoes and 6 pepper plants and now growing herbs in a grow tent I made, but I do have a baby lemon tree that I want to keep alive during winter

Any updates on the citrus tree? This is my first time growing both lemon and lime trees. I live in Long Island NY, we have some pretty cold winters
Wa ‘alaykum salaam! I tried my hand at a lemon and a tangerine plant that I bought new last spring or summer (Pennsylvania USA zone 7A). I did everything you did, but forgot to put fleece. We’ll soon see how they made it 🤷🏽♀️ The leaves are yellow, but I think that’s ok🤔 Any ideas on what to do now? Fertilizer? Particular nutrients? Any help will be appreciated! Jazakallahu khayran 🙂

You do not need to open day time to get sun lights when not freezing?
I would consider adding some containers of water around the tree and wrapping the tree with incandescent Christmas tree lights as a heat source.
