Hey Revolts, a little word of advice. Some scam call centers are starting to train their staff to "listen in" for background noise. They're being told that if there's no background noise, to keep their guard up and be suspicious. You should probably generate some, even a quiet radio in the background would be useful
I’m sure you’ve heard of Jim Browning. Wouldn’t it make more sense to copy the files instead of delete them so that you can hand over that information to the proper authorities and get them shut down? I love what you do though!
This is a good question. SR's incentive is YT views. These kind of quick hits provide plenty content for optimal views. Copying files over the Internet takes a long time if the Internet connection is not good. I imagine it'd take more than an hour call to properly download all files, although if you could find the correct files, that would make it quicker. Jim Browning did mention that he often send information to the Indian authority, and most of the time his reports are ignored - at least before the BBC documentary. I don't know how serious the authorities are now. I have a cynical guess that the authorities probably receive some kind of protection money from these scamming institutions. I hope I'm wrong though. I imagine a team funded by the government who target these scammers - it shouldn't be difficult nor expensive to form. Someone who is acting, someone who concentrates on getting information on the individual scammers, someone who is hacking, and someone who is getting information on the victims. Or something like that. Then an actual police force arresting these guys. It takes political will, and seeing how this hasn't happened yet makes me think those in power allows this.
