Здесь хорошо видно ка к опора на палку помогает вращению лыж, но ещё лыжник в повороте сближает пятки лыж. Таким образом он подстраховывает себя от неожиданного срыва лыж или сваливания на внутреннюю лыжу.

No; press on the balls of the feet, while leaning into the tongue of the boot. He is ‘cheating’, even with twin tip skis!

Весь в напряге лыжи крутит, вроде как для пользы тела, а в натуре силы тратит и причём так неумело!
