Dudes treating her like a sugar momma. I wouldn't tolerate this. No way he forgot his card every single time, and there are other ways to pay aside from the physical card like cash or even the mobile app for his bank may allow contactless pay.
This. My husband is constantly forgetting his wallet or losing his debit card, until he finds them he uses his phone. It's not a problem nearly everywhere he shops
You assume paying with one’s phone is available everywhere ...It isn’t where I live . But OP should have ditched the guy after the third time he pretended to have forgotten , her brain doesn’t work ...
There is a story where the SIL (husband's sister) always "forgot" her wallet and always expected Op to pay because "you can afford it". The last time they all went out she left her wallet on her bed, and Op picked it up and put it in her purse. When the bill came, SIL of course said she forgot her wallet, and Op said, "this one"? SIL was pissed, of course, and started accusing Op of touching her things, lol. Grifters gonna grift, but only if you let them.
Story 1: Good on you for standing up for yourself. I would tell him that he can’t constantly forget his debit/credit card and he’s been lying to you. Using you is not a healthy relationship and he either needs to man up and pay for himself for a good long while or you need to separate. If he tries to make this about the kids, tell him HE is responsible for the kids, not YOU. You have nothing against the kids, just the father who is being a butthat. And any man who can’t remember a debit card for 9 months shouldn’t be put in charge of little ones. He’d be likely to lose them too lol!
It’s crazy like bro u could’ve made something at home or get ur wallet and take em out or get fast food. Ya it’s ridiculous like they didn’t eat cause now it was him who was paying. Like is he only dating op for free food!? And I’m surprised how they not only stayed with him but continued going out knowing he would “forget” his wallet. And he brings his kids every time and did it least once a week like wouldn’t he wanna have alone time with op or more likely wants to save money by not getting a babysitter and a free meal for him & his kids. He’s such a mooch like what’s next hes gunna go to the bathroom when the bill comes out hoping someone will pay it? How does op not see they’re using them and stand up for themself like op should’ve never gone broke but give him the receipts to pay them back and refuse to go out until he did I wonder what his reaction would’ve been like if when he started pulling this that when they all went out op ask him if he has his wallet when they meet up before they even go inside the restaurant and leave to go to his house to pick it up or McDonald’s dollar menu. Or what’s better is if op drove to his house to drive to the restaurant together and they tell him before leaving the house to bring his wallet and make him check it has his credit card in it before leaving in front of u, hell maybe hold onto it for him so he doesn’t loose it. (I can see him saying oh I forgot I took my credit card out of my wallet!) I’d like to see if in that situation where he’s on the hook for the bill if they still go to the nice fancy restaurant or still lets his kids order whatever their lil hearts desire or makes em get something cheap dish or share a dish.
It sure took OP long enough to grow a spine! At minimum, she should have ditched him after he refused to pay her back the first time. At max, 3 strikes and he's out. 9 months of this nonsense??? Is OP really that desperate for a man? I hope she finally dumped his mooching arse.
@@DrownedInExile This. There is a real situation of people staying with people to avoid being alone, no matter how they are treated, because to them, a single status is worse than being emotionally/physically/Financially abused. I wonder if OP has genuinely told anyone about the boyfriend and the wallet? Likely not because she knows its a lie and embarrassing, and people would tell her to leave this user.
Story 3 OP is not phobic. I get so irritated when people cry phobia when you refuse to use your own money irresponsibly. They will presumably adopt, so there is no rush. At 46 someone should be financially stable enough to be a parent. If not now when? My stance will always be if you can't afford kids you shouldn't have them.
I think they just want a kid to have another reason to beg the family for money 'i know we just went on a trip to Venice but little Timmy needs new shoes and clothes for his sports' no kid will be in good hands with them. they probably expect them to work as soon as they can and give them all the money because 'we adopted you, you owe us'
Agreed. But I have sympathy for folks who have kids they can afford- and then get laid off, their partner leaves & refuses to support the kids they made. Those adults and the innocent kids in every situation are the ones I think of when I vote for 100% free school lunches and afterschool programs.
My friend paid for me when I only wanted 1 drink and knew I wouldn't meet the $15 CC minimum.... I paypal'd her $7 as soon as we left the bar (drink +$2 of the tip)... Don't financially take advantage of people.
1st story. They've only been together 9 months and he brings the kids around like she's the mother of his children and uses OP like an ATM. I don't know what OP sees in this guy that she's willing to go broke. She's had so many chances to put her foot down instead of biting the bullet and paying. Now, bf trying to gaslight her. She can literally see the red flags as she's typing the words on Reddit, but doesn't seem to understand that she can just leave the relationship?
That mother should not be allowed to volunteer if she cannot respect a child's name. I had a teacher try that game with me, insisted my name was let's say Elizabeth when it was legally Beth, I simply ignored her when she called Elizabeth during attendance. She got the point. Good on OP for calling her out.
Robin Story NTA: I went to school with an African boy named Tula (which is Swahili for beloved warrior), the name sounds like a girl name, but isn't. Teachers and others would always ask him if it was his "real name" and one parent teacher's aide started calling him Tommy, she claimed it was to make him more American. It came to a head during a teacher/parent conference when the Teacher kept calling Tula "Tommy", and his parents interrupted the teacher thinking they had the wrong student. When the teacher exampled why she and others were calling Tula "Tommy" his parents threw a fit and accused the school of discrimination because they were African and immigrants. After that day no one called Tula "Tommy"
Robin story, I think OP played this pretty well. That volunteer has a couple roos loose in the top paddock and the fence is busted in a couple of places clearly. The comments are spot on. Go into that meeting armed to take the psycho down.
I have a shocking revelation for people born post-1989 as well: Ariel is a unisex name! Though more common among boys until The Little Mermaid came out. And now everyone thinks it's a girl's name.
I knew a guy named Ariel when I was in Mexico. When he introduced himself, he said "like the mermaid" and we both laughed. He was about 2 decades older, so likely more common back then. Sweet guy too 😊
2nd Story. NTA Uhmm did this volunteer mother not ever hear of Robin Williams? In any case this hits a sore spot for me. I have a short version of what can be a long name. I had a teacher in high school constantly call me a very long version of my first name. The thing is, mine was the simple 3 syllable version of my name , Think Bobby Jo her version was like Roberta Josephine I hated it, it irritated the hell out of me. No matter how many times I told her my actual name she insisted on calling me what felt to me an obnoxiously elongated version of a name that was not mine, about midway through 10th grade I just stopped responding to her, right up to being sent to the office over ignoring her. The principle was actually pretty cool about it when I explained it, though initially skeptical when I first told him. Until she came in between classes and confirmed, that It only happened when she addressed me using the wrong name, even went as far as to say, she thought her version was prettier. And felt I was disrespectful for refusing to answer her. I was shocked to hear and see him ask her if she was my parent. She begrudgingly saying no. and him telling her she has no right to rename me or call me by a name I obviously did not like or want, and added respect works both ways, being a teacher does not entitled her to it, if she she can't even respect someone enough to use their name. She never called me the wrong name again, though when addressing me it was as Miss (my last name) from that point on. I loved that prinsipal. He was strict on students if they did something wrong but he was just as strict on the teachers if they over stepped.
Last Story this is textbook choosing beggars. The sister hates OP and didn't even tell OP she was gay. Why was that bs even floating around. The nerve to beg favors and say I hate you in the same breath. How dare the other sister say OP is TA when SHE won't give money either.
Story 2: in England Robin is a boys name historically. I guess the volunteer has never heard of Robin Hood or read any Winnie the Poo, Christopher Robin. The female version of the name is Robyn but that is newer.
Working in education, it’s imperative that respect is given to children! To THINK it’s YOUR right to call a child by a name YOU THINK is more appropriate, shows the infinity of your stupidity!! My ex husband and I NEVER had problems with our children at school. Because they KNEW what would come down on them for acting inappropriately or stupid!! That heifer needs to be gone if she can’t follow instructions!💯🤦🏽♀️😡
Story 2: I think that woman need a check up from the neck up. Surely she's head of Robin Williams, Robin Hood and Batman & Robin to know that isn't just a girls name.
Story 2: found this hilarious because we have family friends from Denmark (where Robin is/was a boys name) who wanted to name their daughter Robyn but had to prove that in Canada (where the father is from) its a unisex name. This was about 25 years ago so I don't know if the naming rules are still as strict there.
My son's best friend was called Robin & it really suited him. He had red hair, was small for his age & such a happy, funny child. Unfortunately he died after a road accident when he was 11, his family donated his organs & that bought some solace to my son when we sat and talked about what had happened. He is still remembered by my family after 26 years
Who regularly forgets their wallet like that? He's driving illegally if he does since he's "forgetting" his license as well. He's using the OP as an ATM. There's no way it isn't on purpose.
Story 1: People don't put the stuff they need to take with them into their pockets BEFORE they put their pants on. That's a ludicrous excuse. He's not only a bad BF, he's a bad liar.
Oh come on, ... He's not even a liar, he's just abusive. He puts on pants with full pockets, and his kids went hungry because they had to spit the food back on to the plate and have the waiter put it back in the kitchen. LoL he had his credit card with him and he wouldn't have been able to leave the restaurant without paying, regardless if they ate the food that was already on the table, or not. I'm sorry, but liars make an effort to present their lies as truthful, he made an effort to make it clear it's not.
Story 2: OP should start calling the volunteer lady "Berthatrude". "But my name isn't Berthatrude, it's [whatever]." "Oh no, you don't look like a [whatever], you look like a Berthatrude. So that's what you are." And OP just continues calling her Berthatrude until she figures out what Robin's name is.
I thought what if volunteer mom's name is Beth? Plain and simple but op starts calling her Bethany because sure, no-one in their right mind will shorten this beautiful name?
Over here in the UK, Robin is a boy’s name! My middle name, Leslie, spelt like that, is usually the boy’s spelling - the girl’s spelling is usually L E S L E Y! Robin as a girl’s name, if anything, is usually R O B Y N!
@@arthurvasey I would email them back, apologize for his outburst, and then say he’s more than happy to discuss the bullying and harassment of his son. Then , at the meeting, ask her what gender Batman’s sidekick is. And ask her if she’s ever heard of Robin Williams.
Story 1: HE IS NOT FORGETTING. Dump him. Normally I would say don't date someone with kids if you don't want to deal with kids. Now I'm saying don't date a cheap man if you don't want to be treated like an ATM. And OP didn't stop the kids from eating at all, she simply doesn't want to be the one PAYING for the kids. They can eat whatever he wants, if HE pays.
I wouldn’t have shouted, I’d say “thanks Agatha” second day “thanks Deidre”.third day “ thanks Karen” and on and on and on, all with a huge smile, but I’m petty
So Batman's side kick is really a girl who dresses and acts like a guy. Someone should have told artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger when they created the character 83 years ago. Back then it was common to name a boy Robin.
My sister had two kids in her class with last names that could double as (oldfashioned) first names and their old hag of a teacher persisted in calling them by those names. Every other kid got their real first name and yes the kids felt bullied by this. So "Robin" is a girls name? Please tell that to Robin Hood! Last story: good on OP!! Especially telling the mom, not to meddle or she gets cut off as well. Smart move.
Robin Gibb from Bee Gees. Also I've gotten some people saying since I don't have "e" in my name the pronunciation is different. Not named after the flower, born in the month of the rosary & after her good friend Ann:)
The first story, someone in the comments on the video mentioned that people do forget their cards. Yeah, not if you have a wallet. I don't know a single person, man or woman , women especially, who forget their debit or credit cards. So, in my opinion, he either intentionally forgot it, even when she had told him to remember it or it was actually in his pocket and just lied. He actually wanted her to pay for him and his kids once again, he was never going to be the one to pay the bill. And people bring up that he could venmo her but what if he says he will do that but just doesn't and claims that he once again, forgot to? Either way, I think OP should maybe break up with him since he always expects her to pay. OP is NTA.
Seriously, OP? I could understand him forgetting it once or twice, but any more than that and there's no way he's not doing it on purpose. He's using you; tell him to get lost and take his scam elsewhere. And he clearly has no problem using his children to try to guilt-trip you, either.
Much bigger issue in the first story isn’t the financial abuse, it’s that this woman has little self confidence and willing to date an obviously abusive a-hole.
Last story - Long time coming to cut them off, and the last part for the mother is going to stick, I think. "If you tell anyone my current number, Mom, I will pull the wheels from your gravy train."
My kids area adults now. My youngest son has always gone by a nickname rather than his actual name since he was born. It's in honor of my great uncle whom I loved dearly. His older brother chose his name, and it just worked out that the nickname to this is similar to my great uncle's name. When he started school and I had to register him, one of the questions was about a nickname or preferred name. I put down his nickname and that is what everyone at school called him. We rarely use his actual name.
Nta. Your kids name is robin. I had a similar incident with my child and school. I watched as a teacher yelled a name at my kid and her ignore the teacher bc it wasnt their name. Then the teacher stormed towards my child angry. I cut back across the parking lot and jumped the fence. I got to my child just as the teacher grabbed them up saying I was talking to you. That is when I stepped in and said get your hand off my kid, that is not her name and if you ever place a hand on her again it will be your last. She stuttered and rushed away apologizing. I then went and told the office what happened.
Yeah, bf definitely butthead, I occasionally forget my wallet, but have card information stored on both phone and watch just in case, it's come in handy a handful of times:)
Wait till that woman finds out there are places that actually use Robin more for males than females 🙄 In my country i met more male Robins than female, even tho it is for BOTH genders.
OP in the first story could have just told the BF "You better be sure to take your credit card with you because I will be prepared to pay for my meal only. I will be taking cash, only enough to pay for my meal, and I will tell the waiter I want my meal on a separate check. So ..... take your own money or card, because you won't be using mine." Yeah, that is what I would have told him ..... if I was still dating him. Kind'a like what I told a long time dating companion after I had enough of him getting tanked every time we went somewhere for a social event and him drinking to the point that I had to drive him home in his car, then drive my self home with his car, then have to make arrangements the next day to drive to his place and then him drive me home ..... providing that he had slept off his stupor enough for him to be able to drive me safely. So, before we left my house, I told him that he better stay sober because I was not going to do the after event driving, rather, I would be equipped with to pay for a cab to get my self home (this was long before uber or lyft) and what he did to get himself home would be his problem. Heh, heh, he didn't touch a drop, but he did mope all evening long. Sadly, the relationship was already on a downward slope, so that just kinda greased the rails.
I would have said. *"I'LL HOLD THE CARD FOR YOU* just to make sure it gets to the restaurant! If he balks at that, then we know he's a con artist and is using women to support himself and his kids!
Pick up mom story NTA and shouldn't have apologised. OP went in for round one (after warnings and trying to be polite) and wife who's "no nonsense" backed him up for round 2. It isn't a "win" or a knockout (to keep the boxing analogy); Round 3 would be bring back "no nonsense wife" and "pickup mom" to the principles office and have her explain EXACTLY why she refuses to use the kids names that their parents have given them; and why the school is allowing this AH to be around thier children as sounds like she does this to other kids. Don't let up and I'd drag this out, "pick up mom" what gives YOU the right to change MY child's name cause its to "feminine" and School WHY are you letting this AH anywhere near KIDS???
Story 2. My son didn't like his birth name, later changed it to a popular/common name. When the film Black Panther was released, there's his name now famous and up in lights! He's the only living person with that princely name legally, because it's on his Birth certificate for over 40 years.
BF technically didn't forget his credit card, he considers OP his credit card and she was sitting right there. I second the opinion that OP should ghost the guy and only after 9 months mentioned how she forgot to tell him that it was over.
A lot of people use their credit like a debit card and pay it off to build credit. My bf was holding out and gave in. Now he gets rewards on top of it and it's much easier for him and he's got good credit.
Story 2: This is outrageous. The child's parent tells you the name that they have given their child, but you don't like that name and decide to call the child by another name🤭
My name is a girl name everywhere else, but not in the country I live now, here is a boy name. At school they tryed to use a nickname/2name for me, since there was a boy with the same name in class "to not mix us", but I just don't responded to it "that not my name" (I was already in a lifetime battle with my mom since she calls me only by my second name, so teachers & classmates never had hopes~) I may also have "convinced" the boy to use the nickname until graduation since we ended in the same class all way up to high school~
Worst part is she knows robin is a nickname for Robert. That’s where robin came from, it was a sole masculine name before it became unisex. Meaning not only is her ‘this is a girls name’ approach offensive, but the idea she’s used to build this approach is wrong as well, as surely by her logic robin is a male only name.
Story #1: LOL, this reminds me of myself and my mom's boyfriend, "Todd." My wife and I found ourselves living in the same area as my mother for a couple of years, and we began to go out to dinner together semi-frequently. My Mom and I would always alternate paying. Finally, my wife said, "Do you realize that Todd always eats free, no matter what?" I hadn't, but she was right . . . he'd never so much as offered . . . and as soon as I mentioned it, I was scolded. That was the end of eating out. Spoilers: He's still a mooch.
2nd story...So, out of curiosity, I decided to look up the statistics on genders for people named Robin. Per Wikipedia, in 2014, 88% of babies named Robin were male. In the same year in the USA, 46% were male. So, the volunteer needs to check herself. Not that it was acceptable behavior in the first place. My name is Kim. I am a female. My name is not Kimberly. Even if it was Kimberly, I introduce myself as Kim. So, that is what you call me.
I have two part first nsme, i hate second part which i never use. Some people, who know it, use full name and I'll let it slide (tho me never using it should be a hint what name to use) but my dad and bro sometimes use only 2nd part so i ignore them. Or answer by using their middle name.
9:15 - I suggest the parents wait a week, then email the principle that their child is still being made to feel ostracized by the mean woman, and how they are at the point of removing their son from the school and contacting the super intendent to inform them of the issue. Light a fire under them, forcing action that isn't a verbal reprimand.
Does anyone actually still belive the "sorry I forgot my card/wallet/purse" BS anymore?? Cause I'd be like "do you have a smart phone"?? And when they say yes I'd ask so why don't you have mobile payments or at minimum Mobile banking setup!! I don't even carry a wallet anymore and carry one card that has nothing on it and I use when I need to pay by cash so do a transfer. That excuse DIED with the invention of the smart phone!! I've been out with a group and we needed to pay cash which I didn't have on me and took me less that 5mins to send my mate my share as he had the cash. I'm glad OP stood up for herself this time but YTA if you keep dating a guy that sees you as an ATM and it's been what 9months?? Cut your losses and RUN
If you can only get kids through donations of cash you are not going to be able to support those kids. Op needs to insist they all get financial & debt control training.

Story 1: Chick you picked a loser user. Think about the type of guys you choose and maybe learn to change your pattern. Dump him. It's not your relatives problem to feed&pay for your future kids!! Wow,how entitled can people be?!!?
Story 2. My youngest niece who lives with me hates her name and goes by her nickname with is almost like her original name but without the last letter. First day of her school, I asked her teacher to call her by her nickname and he respected that for the whole year. Kids should be respected and be called the way they like and how about if it's their real name. The woman is weird.

I wonder what his reaction would’ve been like if when he started pulling this that when they all went out op ask him if he has his wallet when they meet up before they even go inside the restaurant and leave to go to his house to pick it up or McDonald’s dollar menu.
I love it when people demand your stuff or money but insist that it be on their terms and not yours
"Robin is a girl's name"
*hands her a Batman comic* "What's the name of Batman's main sidekick that's also MALE?"
And who hasn't heard of Robin Williams by now?
Robin Hood
Christopher Robin?
Robin Gibb of the BeeGees
Robin Williams?
Story 3 OP is not phobic. I get so irritated when people cry phobia when you refuse to use your own money irresponsibly. They will presumably adopt, so there is no rush. At 46 someone should be financially stable enough to be a parent. If not now when? My stance will always be if you can't afford kids you shouldn't have them.
I think they just want a kid to have another reason to beg the family for money 'i know we just went on a trip to Venice but little Timmy needs new shoes and clothes for his sports' no kid will be in good hands with them. they probably expect them to work as soon as they can and give them all the money because 'we adopted you, you owe us'
A surrogate situation or adoption are both expensive. Nope Not Your Responsibility. They are adults they can budget and save for Their Future.
Agreed. But I have sympathy for folks who have kids they can afford- and then get laid off, their partner leaves & refuses to support the kids they made.
Those adults and the innocent kids in every situation are the ones I think of when I vote for 100% free school lunches and afterschool programs.
Robin Williams
Robin Thick
Hell, Robin Hood! Lol
My friend paid for me when I only wanted 1 drink and knew I wouldn't meet the $15 CC minimum.... I paypal'd her $7 as soon as we left the bar (drink +$2 of the tip)... Don't financially take advantage of people.
Run like you're in the Olympics 🤣🤣🤣 best comment ever
Glamour Bunny. What a fabulous nickname!! 🐰 🤣🤣
Nta. If the kids come it is not a date. He didn't forget his wallet. He is using you. He knew exactly what he was doing. He did not forget. Dump him.
GET A BETTER BOYFRIEND WITHOUT HUNGRY KIDS.
Aussie? I love it!
"Couple of roos loose in the top paddick" It's a brilliant saying. Are from Australia, by any chance???
I have a shocking revelation for people born post-1989 as well: Ariel is a unisex name! Though more common among boys until The Little Mermaid came out. And now everyone thinks it's a girl's name.
I always use the nickname Antennae for people named Ariel.
I knew a guy named Ariel when I was in Mexico. When he introduced himself, he said "like the mermaid" and we both laughed. He was about 2 decades older, so likely more common back then. Sweet guy too 😊
Story Two: ever heard of Robin Williams? He was a pretty good comedian and actor, apparently
/s
My favorite! And Robin of Locksley (Robin Hood).
Robin Harris from Bebe's Kids?!
Robin Thicke, singer, songwriter, judge on Masked Singer.
Maybe she saw Mrs Doubtfire and got confused.
I really hate when people use their kids as a manipulation tactic to mooch. Not only is it toxic, but it's pretty damn low too.
The mom probably created the narrative that the late Robin Williams used a stage name instead of researching
Good principle
Last Story this is textbook choosing beggars. The sister hates OP and didn't even tell OP she was gay. Why was that bs even floating around. The nerve to beg favors and say I hate you in the same breath. How dare the other sister say OP is TA when SHE won't give money either.
If I had had a third child their name would have been Rowan (whether a boy or girl). Never had a third but have a cool niece....Rowan!
I know two people named Rowen.
How much more obvious does a scam have to be before OP catches on? I hope none of those Microsoft call centres have her phone number.
There is a famous Englander, called “Robin” Hood.
And another one called Christopher Robin.
Robin Williams beloved comedian, Robin leach introduced us to the rich and famous, then there's that batman sidekick....
And old female friend of mine (90’s) was named Robyn
My son's best friend was called Robin & it really suited him. He had red hair, was small for his age & such a happy, funny child. Unfortunately he died after a road accident when he was 11, his family donated his organs & that bought some solace to my son when we sat and talked about what had happened. He is still remembered by my family after 26 years
Who regularly forgets their wallet like that? He's driving illegally if he does since he's "forgetting" his license as well. He's using the OP as an ATM. There's no way it isn't on purpose.
Once is accident. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action. Your BF is taking advantage of you.
@@arthurvasey The British author Vivian Leigh was a man.
@@GrumpyOldFart2 I had thought of Robin Hood...
Just make him Venmo you before you order. That's what we do every night at work. One person pays, the rest of us Venmo.
I LOVE the way the Narrator says "Oregano".
I thought I was the only one.
That is the typical "British" pronunciation. It turned my head the first time I heard it.
He wasn't even cheap, he was quite expensive as long as it was on someone else's dime
Story 2: The volunteer mother has never heard of Robin Hood and that's why she thinks Robin is a name just for girls, right?
I wouldn’t have shouted, I’d say “thanks Agatha” second day “thanks Deidre”.third day “ thanks Karen” and on and on and on, all with a huge smile, but I’m petty
If you can't afford kids, don't have them. How can they support children at this rate? It never stops at one favour.
Happy Saturday Everyone from Tacoma Washington! ( Stay Safe)
Okay I'm stealing that line Run like your trying to qualify for the Olympics lmao
So Batman's side kick is really a girl who dresses and acts like a guy. Someone should have told artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger when they created the character 83 years ago. Back then it was common to name a boy Robin.
Make dates with him and bring your family members and say the same thing he did.
Smart move.
Mom should have meddled when sis kept calling OP horrible names for actions her mother performed
Robin Williams, Robin Thicke…damn a google search will give a list of famous people called Robin.
I'll do you one better Robin Williams.
Batman and Robin-very manly men.
Robin Gibb from Bee Gees. Also I've gotten some people saying since I don't have "e" in my name the pronunciation is different. Not named after the flower, born in the month of the rosary & after her good friend Ann:)
The 1st comment in story 1 had me cracking up
Lmao
OP is NTA.
My wallet is the first thing I grab before I go anywhere, he is just a lesser trying to use people.
He had his wallet. He was just playing games. He didn't want to pay.
Has she never heard of Batman and Robin ?
You mean Batman and Robert? 😂😂
Batman and Ritchard
Or Christopher Robin?
Was she fired?
@@milkandhoney84 nope. But she did always call my kid by her name afterwards. Bc had she said her name she would have answered.
Yeah, bf definitely butthead, I occasionally forget my wallet, but have card information stored on both phone and watch just in case, it's come in handy a handful of times:)
2nd Story: Did this volunteer mom ever hear of someone named "Robin Hood"? Or "Robin the Boy Wonder"?
If he balks at that, then we know he's a con artist and is using women to support himself and his kids!
and bring a lawyer into the meeting.
Lol, the naming one is such a mess. Like 'exuse me? Are you not familiar with Robin Hood? " The shortened name is more commonly known than Robert?
Robin Hood? Robin Williams? Robin Leach?
Hadn't thought of Robin Leach, good one 😊
Robin is a type of bird and a UNISEX NAME!
Story 1: Batman and Robin. Boy's name. End of story. Good on OP for standing up for his son.
Robin is not a nickname. And is quite a unisex name. Batman and Robin. Both are men.
Story 2. My son didn't like his birth name, later changed it to a popular/common name. When the film Black Panther was released, there's his name now famous and up in lights! He's the only living person with that princely name legally, because it's on his Birth certificate for over 40 years.
Name story: Notice she ran when a teacher approached her, she knew she in the wrong but never got caught by staff
BF technically didn't forget his credit card, he considers OP his credit card and she was sitting right there. I second the opinion that OP should ghost the guy and only after 9 months mentioned how she forgot to tell him that it was over.
I thought robin was a guy's name because of Batmans robin
not to mention Robin Hood
Technically, Robin is an appropriation of a bird's name, so what will WPUM call girls named Robin to sort this out? 😂
Why is he going out to dinner if he has to put it on credit ? 🤔
A lot of people use their credit like a debit card and pay it off to build credit. My bf was holding out and gave in. Now he gets rewards on top of it and it's much easier for him and he's got good credit.
We charge everything. Grocery store even. We pay in full every month so no interest. It’s just easier
I've known 3 Robin's, and they were all boys and have one girl friend named Robyn. Robin is definitely a boys name
Hasn't this woman ever heard of Robin Williams?
Batman’s sidekick will be very surprised to learn that his “real” name is Robert.
Story 2: This is outrageous. The child's parent tells you the name that they have given their child, but you don't like that name and decide to call the child by another name🤭
If changing names to something more appropriate is an option, maybe he should just thank c**tface loudly for her help.
@@immortalsofar5314 😂😂😂😂
Story 1: OP can't be that stupid to fall for this repeatedly.
My name is a girl name everywhere else, but not in the country I live now, here is a boy name.
At school they tryed to use a nickname/2name for me, since there was a boy with the same name in class "to not mix us", but I just don't responded to it "that not my name" (I was already in a lifetime battle with my mom since she calls me only by my second name, so teachers & classmates never had hopes~)
I may also have "convinced" the boy to use the nickname until graduation since we ended in the same class all way up to high school~
Story 1 - C'mon OP, are you really this dense?? He's using you.
Next time you pick up kid, wear a Bat Man costume.
Robin Hood? Ok so he wore tights lol
Uh... Robin Hood, Robin Williams, your SON. This woman is unhinged, and I'd have yelled, too. We all have a limit, especially with our kids.
My name is Jayme and so many teachers in the 80's called James, which I would always ignore.
I went to school with two kids named Robin. Never thought until now that it could be short for Robert!
Story 2: Has she never heard of Robin Hood?
My brothers name is Robin....btw my nephews name is Paige
Don't forget there was a male pro wrestler whose first name was Kerry.
@@GeorgieB1965 My sons name is Terry.
Story 1) sounds like the boyfriend is acting like a spoiled little boy that wants handouts and for someone to take care of him instead of taking care of himself. A little boy.
Story 1: Chick you picked a loser user. Think about the type of guys you choose and maybe learn to change your pattern. Dump him. And who let's there little kids 'try' new stuff that is pricey when you are broke ? That liar did not let his kids go hungry he was trying to guilt you. I will be very disappointed in you if you still have this loser.
Again with the phobic comment !! It's always their go to comment when they don't get their way !! It's absolutely infuriating and appalling ! If you can't afford kids, you don't have them, period ..
Only guys were called Robin in my day, so
