In this video, I beat a Pokemon Renegade Platinum Hardcore Nuzlocke… and it didn’t go very well.
Ruleset:
(1) If a Pokémon faints, it must be perma-boxed or released.
(2) Only the first Pokémon encountered in each Route/Area can be caught.
(3) No Legendaries/Mythicals, duplicates, or same-evolution-line Pokémon can be caught or used. If a duplicate is encountered, the next unique type-specific Pokémon encounter can be caught.
(4) Additional Pokémon may be caught for the purpose of HM use, but these may not be used in battle at any time during the run.
(5) No Items can be used in battle (Held Items are allowed).
(6) Party Pokémon levels are limited to the highest level Pokémon of the next Kahuna, Totem Pokemon or Final Elite 4 Member. So long as your Pokémon are at or below the level cap when the Gym Leader/Elite 4 Member battle starts, they can level up mid-battle.
(7) "Set" Battle Mode must be used at all times.
(8) No connecting with other games for the purposes of importing Pokémon, Items, etc.

Honestly pokemon was a huge part of my childhood. I was got bullied alot from my ADHD and Anxiety and pokemon was kind of my escape from reality so i refuse to let go of pokemon

The level cap should be the one of the bosses, not the one of the gym leaders. Middle battles are to easy if you use the leaders level cap as the one. Eventhought good video.

Rom Hacks are the only thing keeping pokemon alive for me tbh. For me personally anything past gen 5 is ass. Renegade Platinum, Blaze Black 2 Redux, Inclement Emerald, Storm Soulsilver all goated but tbh the best is Radical Red

Agreed I do like the main line games but I am very selective about which ones I buy after sword and shield the only main line one I bought was legends arceus because it actually looked awesome and brilliant diamond only because I love gen 4 if it was a remake of any other game I would have skipped it and violet and scarlet the only one I am even considering buying is legends z-a whereas I have 10 fan games downloaded and the others bookmarked for later
I have played through Renegade platinum 5 times. I love it. Can't go back to the original lol, this one has too many q.o.l. changes with reduces poke ball prices, better shiny odds, 99 of each tm, and not to mention all Pokemon to allow for any team you want

First video ive watched of yours and i loved it, blissey gaming was spammed too much tho in the E4 could have dealt without hearing it. Also why did you use both a sun and rain team? In my e4 team i had a rain team with 4 waters as well as snorlax and gligar
Also i banned blissey in my runs after seeing ppl abuse her invalidating 1/2 of all pokemon is so silly imo 😭, ig gligar does the same thing tho and i used him

Love the ronhack nuzlockes. I would say ban either Blissey or Intimidate. Very crutch-like mechanics that completely invalidate either physical or special based fights.
