Hi mate, I have the same bike and have done my 5,000 kms service. To reset the maintenance value, select the menu item like you have done then hold ENT+DOWN for about 10 - 15 seconds. A reset coupon will show up and the maintenance will be reset to 5,000 kms and begin counting down as you ride.
Only just picked mine up but seeing this has me a touch worried. Like others have mentioned, that oil looked suspect. I''ll look around to see if anyone else has posted their first service to compare oil. Thanks for the video
Hi, really enjoy ur videos, thanks for sharing, it does help, much appreciate it.🇦🇺👍that oil was a bit milky, mmmm. Gorgeous bike, they are really something special
Привет друг. Чтобы обновить сервисный режим нажми и подержи клавишу enter примерно 30 секунд. Значение изменится на 5000 км. У меня получилось без проблем.
Thanks. Looks like you have some water in that oil, but maybe it was the lighting. Old oil should be black/dirty, not creamy or milky. When water and oil combine, we get an emulsion, and that is what that oil looked like. Keep an eye on it and thanks for the vids.
@ Interesting. Certainly not "normal", in my 40 years of riding and wrenching on 5 or so bikes, but that does not mean that CF did not add some kind of "advanced factory additive" that would cause the appearance of emulsion. Have you changed it sense? if so, was it back to normal for used oil? FWIW, - According to one of my many service manuals - Milky or Cloudy: This is a sign of water contamination, which could indicate a coolant leak or condensation. This needs immediate attention to avoid engine damage.
Just a thought- from your earlier video I saw you bogged up the bike pretty good then did an extensive pressure wash. Any chance you got water through the intake?
I believe what we’re seeing is a mixture of metal from everything wearing in and meshing and the golden colour of the oil which has made it look murky. Oil would normally be a lot darker for a regular service interval. Will have a better idea of the engine health at the next service. 🤞🏼
Your attention to detail is more than I usually afford. The oil did look like it had some moisture in it. Or it may have been highly aerated. Hard to tell on camera
That oil looks highly suspicious. Did you do some water crossing? You may have some water in the oil. That or coolant. Either way I would keep an eye on the oil level. If it goes up you may have a faulty head gasket.
Bro don't do that, Motorcycle oils 4T are more resistant to heat as compared to car oils. Money save is not the worth it. you will loose money in longer run.
Why the old oil looks Creamy ! Is that normal? Its the first oil change. The oil should look very clear . I did it before with my Suzuki 600 & africa twin & GS 1250 . The first 1000 KM oil comes out clear like gold .

Thanks, glad it helped, the oil was a bit concerning and I'll be watching for any signs of trouble.
@rubberneckrides5940 it was just a touch of water, maybe check radiator hoses, or have u gone through water crossing?
Great vid mate! Thanks for making it! :)
you can't update the maintenance counter but you can reset it back to 5thousand km by holding enter and up button for few seconds.
Good to know, thanks for sharing!
Enjoying your vids
That looks like oil and coolant mixed

Спасибо, я обязательно попробую!

You’re absolutely right. I’ll be keeping an eye on it. I’m hoping it’s just the metal and fresh oil but I’m probably in denial
Agreed. When he cracked it and I saw that chocolate milk, I died a little.
Totaly normal for a New Bike. Mine looked the same.

Great video, thank you. Did that oil not look quite murky? I’ve not done any servicing before, but keen to learn.

The camera does make it look worse. I had a closer look at it afterwards and it appears to be clear and not milky. Perhaps aerated like you said
Hover over the maintenance then press Ent for around 15 secs
Nice video, where did you get the service manual, can you share it? Thanks👍
See my pinned comment 👍🏻

wher dd you get service manual hardcopy ?
are those factory crashguards???
Yes
Hello, where can I get this manual for the CFMOTO 450MT and buy it? Very interesting! Thank you
just google "CFMOTO 450MT manual", its first result
You can find it online from reddit etc
I'm not looking for an instruction manual. I'm looking for a workshop repair, as shown in the video. I couldn't find anything on Reddit 🤷🏻♂️
Is normal to have so much rust on those pipes ?
@@bca-biciclindcuaxel7527 that’s dry mud. My previous video will explain it
Yeah that oil doesn’t look right, I was thinking coolant or water contamination too
hot exhaust pipe is hot,check
Yup, write that one down
Great video
I use the same oil
But the car version instead because I get an extra litre for less cost than the mc oil.

@zaynkorai 🤣 You can believe that myth if you like 🤷♂️
It's your money
your transmission knows the difference
@ Bro I just did it 3 months ago. Now I have to repair my piston rings and clutch of bike.
Anyone keep using it.
