Fr I forgot how many bumps taker used ro take honestly, him throwing mick off the cell was cool but he's a bump god tbh , him vs Michael's x 2 and triple h x2 was the best 4 years I wish they all retired after that 😂
Only heard a few wrestlers ever refer to Taker by his real name. Kane, Mick Foley, Austin, HHH and Shawn Michaels. It's probably nothing but Adam calling him by his first name shows they're good friends and how much respect they have for one another.
It's not nothing. The wrestlers tend to refer to each other by their gimmick names, and only use shoot names once they become real friends. Case in point, Maven's talked about his friendship with Test (who used to dislike him) and how he knew he won Test over when he corrected Maven to call him Andrew.
Come to think about it, Edge's WrestleMania resume is incredible: -The ladder match at WM2000 -TLC at X-Seven -The first Money in the Bank -Hardcore match against Foley -Money in the Bank at 23 -Main Event at 24 -World Title match against Jericho -Main Event at 37 True, some of his other matches could have been better (Orton, del Río, Styles, Bálor, he also should have faced only Cena at 25 without Big Show) but his list of great matches is admirable.
The rivalry between Edge and Taker is a bit underrated. The WM match, HIAC at SS and I think there was a really good TLC match in there somewhere all in the same year
I was at that Wrestlemania when I was around 13 years old and remember hating Edge and being so happy he lost. Growing up now though and looking back at it, Edge was one of my favorite wrestlers, played the heel role so good and had so many memorable moments throughout his career. Definitely should have been the one to end the streak instead of Brock
Kinda crazy that Edge was offered the opportunity to break the streak. Had he chosen to do so, the HHH/HBK matches in the year after may have lost some of its meaning. Shoutout to Adam for keeping it classy.
Still one of the best Werstlemaina endings ever remember having the poster on my wall in the 5th grade don't even think the wwe magazine is a thing anymore 😂😂
I've been to six Wrestlemanias. This was my first one. And it's by far the one that I have the fondest and most vivid memories of. It was a night I'll never forget.
One the best matches dude. It's a trip because these two were two of my favorites wrestles growing up. There rivalry was legit - they also had a Hell in a Cell match in 08 SummerSlam. Always gravitated toward those dark characters - when Edge 1st came out he was a loner that came from outta the crowd and Undertaker, well he's The Undertaker.
The Amount of Respect That Edge has towards undertaker is extremely beautiful, not wanting to end the streak, having brock ending it should of never happened
Mania24 was probably the best WrestleMania of the PG era. I remember watching this live and overall it was a pretty good event. Even the filler matches we weren’t supposed to care about, those were also good.
People forget edge was undefeated at wrestlemania along with undertaker up into that point they didn’t really build that up that both men were undefeated at wrestlemania with the title line that could’ve been even more momentous match
This is bugging me, does anyone remember which wwe game it was that had the full match to watch with Edge vs Taker at WM24? I remember it was a feature in one of the games but for the life of me I can't remember which one and google is not helping lol.

This was my first wm!
You know the Undertaker has trust in you when he takes a Ladder bump onto 4 stacked tables that were outside of the ring.

"Smelled that Snoop Dogg was around there" 🤣🤣🤣
insane that randy orton was able to perform after hanging with snoop for that triple threat match
@@tmonte9445 I didn't know he did that honestly.
God what a time. Used to hate Edge back then during this time, but more hate in terms of the wrestler. When a Heel does their job right.
Vickie Guerrero has just ruined this feud with theses many bad things .
The Undertaker vs. Edge from WrestleMania XXIV is still one of the best WrestleMania matches ever, deservedly went on last.
i thought it was good but felt pretty long. I think Flair vs HBK deserved to headline
@@watersandblue6001it would’ve if Flair actually retired…
@@watersandblue6001thankfully it didn’t

What about his 6 and a half minutes with Booker T over a japanese shampoo commercial?
That Wrestlemania as a whole is seriously underrated.
It's definitely a Wrestlemania that doesn't get too much attention in comparison to other Manias.
My favorite Undertaker WrestleMania match. He did a lot of tremendous stuff with Michaels and HHH but him and Adam were phenomenal

Didn't wwe want Edge to Break it, but he refused because he respected Undertaker too much??
What a time for WWE that was WM 21 to WM28 was full of magnificent matches.
Kinda crazy that Edge was offered the opportunity to break the streak. Had he chosen to do so, the HHH/HBK matches in the year after may have lost some of its meaning. Shoutout to Adam for keeping it classy.
Counter point, would they have done the retirement angle? Maybe we would’ve gotten a couple of extra years of HBK.
Thank gid edge was smart to realize he didnt need to end streak as he was established as a main eventer
@@lucasbrautigam6781 I think HBK was transitioning out of in ring competition by that point anyway, but it is an interesting what if

I love that edge understands how important it was to enter last
Absolute honor to be at this wrestlemania when I was in 4th grade absolutely an experience I’ll always remember 💙
Hawkins & Ryder main evented that night.

I can tell they had respect for each other when they had the same color tights at summerslam 08 in that hell in cell
The Amount of Respect That Edge has towards undertaker is extremely beautiful, not wanting to end the streak, having brock ending it should of never happened
Would still love for edge to come back to WWE and win the world heavyweight championship he never lost before retiring 😅
I don’t think that he will return to WWE as a wrestler
That could only happen in AEW. Just take a look at how they closed out Sting's career.
@Whatwhatwhat1135 He did retire as Champ back in 2011. Even got Inducted in the Hall of Fame if my memory serves me right.
no I think your memory has failed. I believe you are thinking about U2's The Edge getting inducted to the rock n roll HOF.
Celtics Shaq
2007-2009 Smackdown was so awesome
Literally one of my favorite rivalries as a kid

Oh sweet baby Jesus found it! It was SvR 2009!
Edge Refused to End The Streak
Brock did not
Wow Vince what a Way to Go Seriously
unfortunately they would ruin Taker's legacy with the train wreck that was Wrestlemania 30.
I still think Edge should’ve broken the streak that night.
They were on last because Vince wanted to end Wrestlemania on a high note.
If it wasnt for that fued i wouldnt be a fan today
Edge should have won
Edge said "I don't need I already a made superstar"
It should have been flairs last match he’s literally a skid mark that won’t go
AEW sucks! Sucks for Edge now edge just works with kids.
