Because of this, the North American Lutheran Church was formed. I believe all the Lutheran churches are using the NIV now. They also have The Lutheran Study Bible out which has footnotes and comments by Martin Luther. The Catholics have a Bible called the Didache Bible that users footnotes and references from the Catholic Catechism.
