You can be in a long marriage without having an open relationship, I've been together with my husband for 21 years, my mom and my dad 55 years until my dad died, my grandma and grandpa 67 years and both died within 3 weeks apart. My younger sister has been together for 20 years, and my older sister has been married for 25 years.
