I'm with you on the bear mountain pellets 100% ! I've found as you there's very little sawdust in the bag and my grill maintains pretty even temperature. I appreciate your videos, keep them coming!!
I am no expert by any means but once you get past important categories for comparison such as ash residue, consistent heat, smoke, cost, and additives (binders, oils, artificial flavors etc.), should you not be comparing the same wood variety like Pitboss cherry vs Traeger cherry, lumberjack oak vs bear Mountain oak etc. to do an apples to apples comparison because different woods have different smoke/burn profiles regardless of brand?
