You're a very good teacher. Your approach is empathic and focusses on musicality - not just technical skills.
I'm in my late sixties, and it's only relatively recently that I've started to truly understand the ideas you're talking about here. It's great to have them reinforced. In fact, I played a gig earlier this evening, after I'd watched this, and my playing was really informed by your lesson. Thanks!

Great lesson, thank you Daniel! Debussy also said that ‘music is the space between the notes’. I believe that it’s so true. Regards, Gaetano

Great job again, Daniel. I am a big believer and preach 'space' to shredders. Their eyes open wide when they hear and practice it.

Thanks Rob! Sometimes less is more. Sometimes more is more. But, we can all learn to respect the space in between the notes!

This is awesome advice. Wonder if you have any thoughts on the “opposite” solo problem- building up to really intense crescendos. Some people are naturally really good at this. I’ve always struggled with it!

@@DanielSeriffMusic Being on the other side of the screen, I’m in no position to judge, didn’t want to offend you or anything. But it does come across as if you’re action is too low, causing fret buzz. Has indeed have to be something else then.

No worries, my friend. Honestly it could need an adjustment! It’s newer. But also the mastery causes some interesting tonal things going on acoustically.
