Your mom's life story is so similar to my mom's. She never remarried after my dad passed away in 1970 when I was only 6 months during the war. Even though my mom missed my dad, she never showed her tears. I know how much she missed him was on the day we dressed her in her dying clothes when I found a piece of cloth that was in a secret pocket of her skirt that belong to him. My mom passed away from cancer too in 2004. May she rest in peace.

My mom, we came to the United States early 80s. My dad had a second wife with his other children. He decided to stay and my mom we came to United States without him. My mom never got remarried. She stayed with us until she passed away age 79. My mom was the best mom, but sadly, her children went their own ways. Some became wealthy and forgot about my mom. They decided to love their inlaws more than my mom. I wished she should have gotten remarried and be happy. 😢
