    Now the 21 litre Minaal Daily 3.0 For those of us who are really into one bag carry on minimalism.
    I did four months in the Chiang Mai region of northern Thailand. And two months in Cambodia…followed by a final four days in Bangkok, before flying to Manila and then back to Canada. My Minaal 2.0 did excellent work…but now I’ve gone smaller to the 21 litre Minaal Daily …with small Osprey cross body sling bag. I’m an old backpacker …..70 now. So carrying lighter. Thanks for the videos.

    Hi. I just wanted to say I started a YT channel recently too (mainly EDC review) so I know what's involved and I think your reviews are excellent. Keep doing it and if my experience is anything to go by you should see some great growth with this quality. All the best Jon Gadget (in the UK).

    The controversial blow test. Good for two things, finding that special someone and scientifically testing bag materials.
    Waist belt needs to be included. As you mentioned, the price point is up there with the big boys, got to keep up.

    One problem this bag probably solves for me is keeping the back clean when stowing it under the seat in a flight or anywhere else for that matter. That zippered back cover is a cool feature

    No way Aaron! I also went on a 3 week motorbike trip to Vietnam - in the start of March 2020! Let's just say something happened some 10 days in the trip that cut it off early just as my friend and I were getting stared. I hope to finish it some day. Amazing country, friendly people, awesome nature! Much love for Vietnam. Maybe finish it with the Fyro T22 and make special memories ;)
    Question: I'm more or less deciding to buy an Aer Travel Pack 3 Ultra - should I buy a rain fly for it? Do you always travel with rain flys? I love it being included and integrated here. Thinking of just buying the rain fly that Aer sells and bring it on all travels, just in case.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      sorry to hear about your motorbiking trip getting cut early! I've only ever used a rainfly on that Vietnam trip. I have had one in my EDC bag for a year now but have never needed it lol, just bought a cheap $10 one off Amazon. If you think rain-resistance is important to you then I guess no harm in picking one up

      Ok same experience with me. I picked up a rain fly from Peak Design both when I bought their Everyday pack and then Travel pack, but I've never used it once. I think I won't make it part of my default packing list unless I'm expecting to be outside for a prolonged period of time where they might not be rain cover if it starts raining. But in practice, under most circumstances, you can find cover.

    Just found your channel and loving it. I’m kind of between the Minaal Carry 3.0 and the Peak Design 45L. If money isn’t an issue, which bag/ecosystem would you suggest for week long to 10 day long trips abroad?

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Welcome, and thanks so much! I assume by Monaco you meant 'Minaal' - and if that's the case then yikes, tough question lol. I think I would lean slightly towards Minaal because I like the look and feel of their gear, but Peak Design products probably give you a little more bang for your buck. Ultimately you cannot go wrong with either though :)

    What color bag in the video black or dark gray or light gray? Hard to tell.
    Do you think light Minaal 3.0 is still relevant VS AER travel 3 heavier or really heavy GR2 34L 1000D?
    GR2 looks big Even one empty + NO Load lifter + No Stirring up strap, back ventilation non…
    AER travel 3 can be compressed + have Load lifter + Stirring up strap + good back ventilation.

      Came across Gray Minaal Carryon 3.0 for a good price. Now debating on should I get gray or get black, since smaller Minaal 3.0 Daily is coming in in black…

    Minaal 3.0 or the Fernweh? 🤔

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh dude those are completely different bags with very different use cases. The Minaal is 35 liters - great for one bag travel, digital nomad travel, urban travel, and a bit of adventure. The Ferweh is a monster, I think 55 liters? And it's much more of a hiking/trekking pack. Hope that helps!

    How does something like the able carry max stack up to a back pack like this??

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say they are pretty even in terms of quality - minaal might be sligghhhtly better. But they are also two different sizes, able carry is 5 litres smaller which is a lot
